My new favorite Latin Mexican restaurant. Great food and the kids loved it. We had a back to school lunch party and a gaggle of middle school girls gorged themselves quite happily. We ate a lot!!!

Paid for food that we never received. My partner and I were excited to try this place as the online menu looked appetizing so we decided to order pickup through Uber Eats. After a 40 minute wait with no update we went inside the restaurant to check on our order. We were told that they were not going to make our food, and that we should cancel our order on Uber Eats because they didn’t know how to do it themselves (even though we could see the button to cancel the order on their screen). However by the time we canceled our order we would not be able to get our money back. It’s obvious for other reviews that they know what they are doing and want to scam people out of their money. 0 stars, do not recommend this place at all.

Straight robbed me. Ordered on Uber eats and they made me wait 30 minutes without telling me to come in on the app. I came in and was told they are not making my order as it’s a lunch special. Asked them to cancel and they told me I had to even though I was gonna get charged they told me I’d get my money back. Come to find out they knew exactly what they were doing and just took my money for an honest mistake. Will be fighting this seriously. Guys in front acted like they don’t speak English. Unprofessional and will make sure I get my money back from these thieves!!!

The food has no Mexican flavor at all and the waiter who served us did not treat us like Latinos, we asked him if the food came with tortillas. And he told us that his countrymen don't eat tortillas, or he was referring to gringos. The waiter is racist towards his Latino people.

I expected more from the food, when I asked for tortillas and the owner said “countrymen don't eat that” being a Latin restaurant, being racist towards us, I had nothing to know about the food, it seemed like the sauces that are taken out of the cans... and I ordered a spicy corn, and they said “Tajín”

Food was alright. Not seasoned at all, like nothing, especially the fajitas. Store bought tortillas. The margarita was awful, no flavor, cheap tequila, tasted like Applebees dollaritas, def not worth $12. There was no strawberry flavor, the tequila overpowered everything. Those aren’t sopapillias either, they just served tortilla chips from a bag with chocolate on top, def not worth $10. Our waiter was really nice though. Liked him a lot.

The tacos ... pretty bland. The cheese dip was salty. The waitress didn't understand English at all. The Pico de Gallo was the only decent thing.
I loved it! Came for my mom’s birthday and the food was insanely delicious. The good gems are always local. Definitely recommend.

We have not been eating at this restaurant for couple years.... I'm surprised that the lunch special is only $8.95. It's inexpensive compared to many NYC restaurants nowadays. The portion seems smaller, however, than before. But tasted really good. I am ok with such portion in this price. The free tortilla chips with salsa was fresh and taste good too. Service was good and didn't have to wait too long. I definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant to my friends ?

My visit to Cinco de Mayo restaurant offered a solid dining experience. The tacos we ordered were quite flavorful, particularly the cecina and carne, which were aromatic and far from bland. As for the guacamole, it was satisfactory, though it didn't particularly stand out. The highlight, however, was the watermelon Agua Fresca, which was refreshingly fresh and pleasingly low in sugar.
