Cinco de Mayo never disappoints. I was a frequent visitor when they were located further up bell blvd and after they relocated to where they currently are. It's been a few years since I visited, and after my visit this weekend, I needed to make sure a review was given.Establishment has a full bar when you first walk in with seating along the side, opening up to a decent size seating area towards the back. Clean bathrooms and TVs mounted showing different sports stations. They play Spanish music.Came for Cinco de Mayo, literally, with a party of 4. They were pretty busy, but we were seated right away. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area; appetizers and entrees ranging from $9 - $30, with seafood meals costing more than the meat. They provide water and chips with salsa for the table. Chips are not salty, and salsa has a little spice kick to it.For eats, we had the guacamole with chips, calamari with Chipotle mayo, beef empanadas, and chicken flautas entree. Everything was tasty, fresh, and flavorful. They make the guacamole fresh and bring it in the classic black morter bowl with a wooden spoon to scoop out onto your plate. You can make your guac as spicy as you want. I've had the chimichangas and sizzling fajita entrees in the past and recommend these as well.Their drinks are spot on. We always get the frozen margaritas. They offer a variety of flavors and sizes too. We got the regular size margarita, $13 each. We also got a virgin mango margarita for $8.Bill came to exactly $100. I absolutely recommend and will keep visiting.

**************** DINER BEWARE*************** Went here a couple of Saturdays ago with my lady to get some drinks. We sat at the bar and were attended to by the bartender. First we each ordered a drink. The bartender got my lady's drink order wrong but we brushed it off and she drank it. She ordered a dish which was decent at best. We ordered another drink each and she ordered the same drink again and this time the bartender got it right. So a total of 4 drinks and an entree were ordered. I ask for the bill and when the bill arrives I look at the amount and was surprised at how much it was coming out to (it was around $104 for the amount ordered). I didn't read the itemized bill I just chalked it up to inflation. I give my credit card to pay and the bartender happily swipes it and brings me the receipt to sign. Something wasn't sitting right with me though. I double check the bill and this time checked the itemized bill and come to the realization that I was being charged for and additional two drinks that I did not order. I mention it to the bartender and he looks at the bill all puzzled. He takes the receipt and goes to the computer to fix the issue. He ends up voiding the transaction and correcting the bill by removing the two drinks which brought the bill down to around $74. When he brought back the corrected bill his excuse was that he went ahead and took the liberty of charging us for two more drinks that he thought we were going to order. Ok buddy sure. While this was all going on there was a lady who I assume is the manager or owner staring at what was going on from afar almost as if knowing what was going on. Even if there was no ill intention and it was just an accident the excuse given just did not help their cause. This experience and the quality of food and drinks served are enough for me to not try this place again. Specially on Bell Blvd when there are so many more dining and drinkng options. So if dining here just double check your receipt to what you ordered as the casual unsuspecting diner could easily become a victim. TLDR: Got charged for more than was ordered and given a BS excuse as to why it happened so check your receipts if you do decide to eat here.

There were 4 people dining. We ordered 2 burritos - one steak and one shrimp - but there was more rice in the burritos than anything else. Steak was chopped up very small and basically nonexistent in the first burrito and there were only 3 shrimp in the other. We also ordered a taco salad but there was more rice in the “salad” than actual lettuce, which was confusing because it’s supposed to be a salad, not a rice bowl with lettuce on top. Last, my mother ordered fajitas and tried to ask the server to place the sizzling hot plate on her right side because she’s unable to use her left hand at the moment and didn’t want to burn herself, to which he yelled at her saying that she “is messing up what he’s doing”, slammed the plate down on her left side despite the request then walked away with a huff and an attitude. Overall our server was rude and generally ignored us which is unfortunate because we were 1 of only 2 parties in the place. Despite the terrible service we still tipped him 20% thinking maybe he was just having a bad day, but when we got up to leave and said goodbye he didn’t respond to us at all, instead picked up the cash making a face to show his displeasure with the amount he received, rolled his eyes and walked away. 2 stars overall bc the food was tasty and the restaurant is clean, but customer service was absolutely atrocious.

Great food and super friendly staff. Been going there for many years and its nice to see the same bartender, waitstaff and hosts over and over again. The best margaritas in northern queens. Crispy sweet maduros and some of the tasitet grilled chorizo i have tried!Parking: In the evenings it takes a spin or 2 around the block but its a busy area and spots open up frequently.

This place was amazing. The food I ordered turned out to be no carbs which I did not intend but it was sooooo delicious. My fiance got the flautas and he finished every last bite too. We had some daquiris, we thought they gave us with no alcohol but it was just that good. And the desert did not disappoint either. It was something different. Ice cream with flour tortilla chips. This is definitely an option for the future.

Now we've moved to Long Island and try to come back as often as we can because their food is top notch ! The drinks are really good too ! We bring family and friends here all the time, especially ones from out of town and they always love it. Highly recommend !
