Fontana Famous Pizza & Gyro

Been going to Fontanas for over 40 years and the food is always great. Never changed. I recommend highly!!! You will not regret it. My go to place for a great Greek bite.

I have t been there in a few years ..
tonight when I pulled up it seemed strange why it was practically empty ..
gyro was dry like toast..
fries were stale
And the pizza … well I included a video .

Grew up in the neighborhood & I've been going here since they opened in 1982. Everytime I'm back i try to get in for a gyro. I've had many people take me to their fav place for gyros & none can hold a candle to Famous Fontana. Absolutely delicious & packed with meat. Haven't found a gyro that compares anywhere.

I'm so disappointed. I've been ordering from here for over 30 years and have always enjoyed the food. Tonight I ordered a cheese pizza and a chicken parmesan hero which I have had in the past from there. It was inedible. Something big has changed in a terrible way. The pizza dough was thick and stale. The cheese tasted like processed plastic and the sandwich was like leather. I can't explain how upset I am at how much the food quality has changed. It almost feels like it couldn't have possibly come from an old faithful comfort.

Local staple. Haven't stopped in for while. Still one of the best spinach pies around. Very good gyro n souvlaki combination platter. Fresh Greek salad. I always leave here satisfied.

Best place to get an authentic gyro. Their Greek lemon fries are to die for. So delicious!!! Fresh salad is always a given. This place,never disappoints me.

Parking: Parking space is limited but I never have a problem,when I go. Just my luck. ?
