Because zero stars isn't an open. While you are making - and confirming - reservations, this place is closed. This was all for the best. The signage taped to the window advised that the health grade is pending and that illegal drugs are not permitted on the premises. We probably would not have gone in. Wasted trip to Bayside and very disappointing.

My friend was refused service all because of his religion and all I can say is go to hell. 1000/10 do not recommend. They will not let you in if your not white.

Hatfields is a great bar. The bartenders are super nice and friendly. Last tuesday Laura and Aly served me and were both kind and efficient as it was very busy. The food’s not bad either.

RACIST!! My friend was rejected from coming here due to racism and discrimination from a man named Brian. He was wearing his religious turban and told if he wanted to come in, he had to take it off. What is wrong with people? As a nurse, this behavior disgusts me. Are we really rejecting people because we do not look a particular way? Guaranteed a white man would not have ran into this issue. This is not the first time I heard of a racial incident from this bar. The employee must be held accountable (FIRED), and management needs to reevaluate the culture around this place. Absolutely disgusted. Will never come here, and will tell everybody I know to avoid this place AT ALL COSTS

This establishment has refused to let an individual in simply because of the attire that they wore relating to the religious practices that they follow. To discriminate against a prospective customer, and not allowing them to eat at your establishment is outright disgusting. The fact that this is happening in the year of 2022, especially, after countless civil rights activists fighting for the freedom of all to be able to live and experience life freely is truly hateful. I would not recommend a single soul to dine at this restaurant.

if i can give them -5 stars i would. The management is RACIST! He wouldnt let my friend In because he was wearing a turban! Then claimed that he looked ghetto because of the shirt he was wearing (he was wearing a Kendrick Lamar t shirt). The guy’s name is Brian. DO NOT GO HERE

This place is extremely rude and disrespectful and racist. My friend was not allowed in because he was wearing a religious headpiece and the man working, Brian, said he was not allowed in with it and to look less “ghetto”. In the year 2022 to be so blatantly disrespectful and incentive toward someone’s religious beliefs and to also describe them as “ghetto” for it is unbelievable. Any establishment that stands and allows this is an establishment that deserves nothing. I seriously hope something is done about this but for the time being we will not be setting foot in this establishment without an apology

Now this is when I look to the owners and ask what is going to be done about this? Are you going to allow Brian to run your business into the ground? It’s time to reevaluate.
The food is good, but their atmosphere isn't great, at least when we went there. The DJ was blasting so loud we couldn't hear people sitting right next to you.

If you get in early enough before the big lines on the weekend, great spot to dance at and good drinks. Wish there was more of a different selection of music but a good time all around.

Love their food because it's simple and appetizing and love their tomatoe sauce for dipping Calamare. It's a nice place to hang out and pass the time with friends or your love ones.

I had been there once at night and place definitely looks better in the dark! Not kept up at all. Floor tile was all ripped up in many places with mats covering it up, bathrooms are old, and it looked like it was more of a night club than a restaurant. They only had high tables that fit 9 so it was awkward with a baby stroller. Two of my party did not feel well after the brunch and cant say it was the food but... I will say the waitress was very nice.

We were the only people in the entire restaurant, but they still forgot one order entirely, forgot to put eggs on all of the burgers, and took a very long time getting the check back to us. The food wasn't great either. The burgers were all dry and well done even though many of us asked for medium or medium well. The picture is of the forgotten burger I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for that still had a missing egg. The sangrias were okay. The interior hasn't been updated for a very long time.
