The food is good the few times I have been there but this place is understaffed. On a Saturday, they should have more employees working. Especially near the cashier area. Me and my husband ordered fountain drinks and I was waiting over 5 mins just to get ice and straws. Also, the tables and seats were dirty and not cleaned properly. This spot can do so much better if they had more staff.

I was thrilled when I heard they were opening in Bayside. HEALTHY and fresh food! Clean place! Laura is always so helpful and friendly!! The reusable bowls(you get a free topping when you bring your bowl) are the best deal and great for the environment! I will continue to be a regular for sure!

I'm a huge fan of Just Salad, and the Bayside location is conveniently close to me. However, my recent visit was ruined by a disappointing encounter with one of the staff members.
The issue began when I tried to order the breaded chicken. Unfortunately, the sassy hispanic male staff member insisted on arguing with me about the name, claiming it was called "crispy chicken" instead of "breaded chicken." I now know itās called crispy chicken, but the chicken is still breadedā¦ I found this exchange absolutely ridiculous, he kept going back at it about 5 times even after the conversation was over. Overall what makes it even more ridiculous is that he clearly knew what I was referring to ā itās like he just wanted to bicker with me!
To make matters worse, when I asked for heavy dressing, he seemed put off and ended up giving me a very light drizzle instead. My salad was left dry and flavorless, forcing me to purchase my own dressing to salvage the meal.
What really bothered me, though, was the staff member's attitude. He came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As a customer, I expect a certain level of respect and courtesy, even on a bad day. I was treating him very kind with please, and thank you.
Despite this unpleasant experience, I will continue to visit Just Salad in Bayside, as it's still my preferred choice over the alternatives in Ditmars or Port Washington. However, I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and addresses the customer service issues that I encountered.

I went here with one of my family members today and had the rudest experience with some of the workers behind the counter. They were hostile and didnāt know how to speak and also looked at eachother when I had asked for a Medium Salad option as if I was stupid. The workers behind the counter need to be reprimanded or fired for having any such attitude. They also rushed us to order when it was our first ever experience there. The portions are regular but WAYY overpriced for what you get. Also the menu isnāt the same as DoorDash.. Next time learn how to speak properly to customers when they ask about an item because you just lost business from us. Definitely wouldnāt recommend honestly just make a salad from home. The portions arenāt good for the price. Super expensive.
came here for the first time with my sister. loved the vibe of the inside, super cute. the menu is very broad, thereās a lot of different options (but it can also be overwhelming to someone coming here for the first time). protein add on portion sizes are SUPER small :( also wanted to mention the staff were super rude to my sister and i when we had questions or were unsure about the menu. they were really short with us and seemed as though our questions were stupid (this was mainly the staff making the salads, the cashier who was an older woman was super sweet). overall kinda mid in my opinion

Great food with great people. I probably ate here like 5 times already and the hot honey harvest, chicken fajita and chicken caesar salad I recommend! Laura was very sweet! As well as the shorter Hispanic girl that I didnāt get her name but she had her hair in a claw clip (today). Will come back.
