UPDATE: The large Greek Salad is a real ripoff now; much smaller container than before and they don't even fill it up at least -- see photo...so sorry I bothered tipping first!!

Standard Greek food truck -- not bad, all your favorites are here at pretty decent prices. Not charcoal-grilled, however, and they keep the meat warm through steaming so it loses some of the taste but okay still.

My husband and I discovered this place when we were on the way to JFK pick up family. The food is super delicious, the price is decent, the portion is amazing and the service is excellent. This will be our must visit place whenever we are in the area.

Been eating from these establishment for decades..... One of the Best gyros in queens.Staff is great here in Bayside !Astoria location is legit as well! Chicken / Pork / Lamb you can't go wrong tbh. Go to spot for sure...

Dine in 2 weeks ago, it was one of the best lamb and beef gyro and platter in NYC. Ordered by delivery app and felt like a completely different restaurant. Meat was thick and non crispy, didn’t taste the same. I felt disappointed after the high quality of previous experience

Dear King Souvlaki Management,

I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent incident involving your food truck located at the corner of Northern Blvd & Bell Blvd. On 8/30/2024 at 4:10 pm , my 14-year-old daughter visited your truck to order food for herself and me, as I am disabled and unable to approach the truck myself.

She ordered Greek fries with lamb, tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, two waters, and a Sprite. To my dismay, she was charged $32 for this order. When I asked her to return to the truck and request a detailed receipt, the individuals working there informed her that they do not print receipts. Instead, they claimed they had accidentally charged her for an extra soda, handed it to her, and stated that this made us “even.”

While the food itself was of excellent quality, the behavior of the individuals working that day was unacceptable. It is deeply troubling that these individuals would take advantage of a young girl by overcharging her and then dismissing the matter by offering an additional soda. This not only reflects poorly on their character but also on the integrity of your business.

As a father, I take incidents like this very seriously, especially when they involve my child. I used this experience to teach my daughter about the unfortunate reality that some people may try to take advantage of others. However, I am extremely disappointed that this lesson had to come at the expense of our trust in your establishment.

I strongly urge you to address this matter with your staff to ensure that this type of behavior is not repeated in the future. I hope you can take the necessary steps to prevent similar incidents and maintain the reputation of King Souvlaki as a place of quality and integrity.

Hits the spot when u want something fast and good.

I had stomach pain for 3 days! Do not recommend also very rude customer service.

Quality went down big time. Disappointment.

Very rude. But food was okay I guess. A little bland.

So disappointed. Got there around 11:30 and customer told us no more lamb. Employee confirmed it and said they only have chicken and 3 pork sticks; ordered a chicken gyro and greek salad with lamb. As they were making the salad I saw them take almost a whole thing of chicken down yet when they gave us the order they said they didn't have enough chicken to also make the gyro so only made the salad. What's more weird is a guy came after us and they told him they only had chicken. Got hike and the salad was saturated in lemon juice, way too much and it still had no taste. Very disappointing across the board.
