Kunst Coffee Haus is one of those cafés that feels like a hidden little sanctuary. The space is filled with greenery, flowers, and small artistic touches from lush plants to handmade crochet animals that give it a cozy, creative vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and just enjoy the atmosphere.
I ordered the Blue Ocean Latte, made with espresso, their homemade Blue Ocean syrup, and blue spirulina powder. Not only was it visually stunning, but the flavor was smooth, balanced, and had just the right touch of sweetness. Definitely a drink that stands out and feels unique compared to your usual latte.
The staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is both welcoming and inspiring. Between the floral arrangements, calming design, and the little details that make the space feel personal, Kunst Coffee Haus is more than just a coffee shop it’s a spot where you want to linger.

UPDATE FROM APRIL 2024: Owners are still rude.
I hadn't stepped into Kunst in over a year. I thought I'd give them another chance. Maybe, it was a language barrier or someone had a bad day.
Once again, I was proven wrong. The owner understood me and was still very rude. The barista helped bridge the language barrier the owner and I had while communicating and still, the owner was super rude. I felt terrible for the barista. The owner literally left her to talk to me and I could see how visibly uncomfortable the barista was getting so I left. I wanted to advocate for myself but the owner wasn't willing to have a discussion with me.
I missed their fresh iced butterscotch cream latte. I think I'd rather go without it than be disrespected for it. Life's too short to support a local coffee shop with mean owners.
I wish the baristas had better bosses because the owners are definitely not welcoming. I tried to talk about my experience with the owner in hopes of a clearer understanding. Maybe, she isn't racist but she sure is hella mean.
I'm glad I see more people reviewing this coffee shop to talk about how mean the owners are because I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

We had an amazing brunch here! The avocado was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the matcha crepe had a unique texture that really stood out. We also loved the cozy atmosphere — the greenery and floral decorations throughout the space made it feel very relaxing. The drink menu had lots of variety too. Would definitely come back!

The atmosphere is lovely, and both the banana pudding and the brunch are absolutely delicious. Please keep the banana pudding on the menu — it’s amazing!

Every time I come to NY, I make sure to stop by Kunst to get a rose syrup latte. Their cookies and other baked goods are delicious as well. Let's not forget all the plants. They are beautiful and for sale, and give the cafe a relaxed tropical feel. My favorite place!

Great food, great drinks, gorgeous atmosphere but not very kid-friendly.
We visited with our family and absolutely loved the food, the coffee, and the beautiful setting filled with real plants and calming greenery it truly feels like a breath of fresh air (literally!). They offer an amazing assortment of drinks and the space is both vibrant and peaceful.
However, one thing that took away from the experience was the passive-aggressive behavior from the owner. We had three young children with us (ages 8, 3, and 2), and while other customers were smiling and enjoying their presence, the owner kept giving us uncomfortable looks almost like we weren’t welcome. He didn’t say anything directly, but his body language was clear: annoyed, impatient, and tense around the kids just being kids.
At one point, my toddler dropped something on the floor, and before I could help her pick it up, he silently swooped in, tossed it, and began cleaning nearby with Windex and paper towels again, without saying a word. The tension was unnecessary and made us feel like we were being watched rather than welcomed.
It’s a beautiful spot that clearly has a lot of intention behind its design and menu just not the warmest if you’re a family with small kids. We’d love to come back, but probably not with our little ones unless the environment becomes more inclusive.

completely disagree with the previous review, i love it here. i was here when this lady made her order 😭😭 entire thing was custom and not even on the menu. it’s not the craziest thing in any cafe/restaurant to be charged extra when you order EXTRAs. also doesn’t make sense to complain about the order taking long if you asked for it to be remade. overall a very cute and nice cafe
