Called a day in advance to see if they have a cheese cake in the store for next day pick up, confirm with lady over the phone there was one and I can come next morning to get the cake. Went in the store around 10:50 and paid for the cake. When I got to the birthday party open the cake, it not a cheese cake but a berry napoleon cake…. Called the store about this issue and was told to bring back the cake to exchange for the correct cake but we were already 1 hour away from the bakery at this point. Was told they were suppose to show us the cake before sealing it which the cashier at the time did not show me the cake before sealing. Birthday boy can’t even have the cake cause his allergic to berries, what a great birthday thank you Martha’s! If your gonna order anything from here make sure you double check before they even seal the product cause you will not get any sort of compensation for their mistake.

First time trying Martha’s! I had their layered chocolate cake and raisin bread pudding. The chocolate cake was delicious I loved that it was evenly layered and not overly sweet. The bread pudding was okay. I guess I expected a little more from it, but overall it was decent. I’ll definitely be back to try more items! 🍰
Overpriced for nothing, $11 for a mini pecan pie, that had no filling, just straight sticky pecans, you can find a better pecan pie half the price at your local supermarket, and I’m confused as to why a mini pecan pie is way more expensive than cheesecake slice 🤷🏻♂️

The service was absolutely terrible. I waited 45 mins and it was New Year’s Eve. The my serviced two customers at a time and the line was out of the door. I asked if they had the pie I wanted and got told they didn’t have it . They were focusing on door dash orders and not customers in the store. Absolutely unorganized and chaotic. Crazy expensive, portions down and ingredients seem like they are cheaper brands. They also have no signs on what everything is. Staff rude

We stopped by last night with 8 ppl, the host was a girl in pink hair. Rude and poor attitude, she told us to let them know when everyone arrived. When we notified her everyone was here she responded “I can see that” then ignored us. If you don’t like your job just quit, no need to be unnecessarily rude. 1/5 service. Otherwise cakes are standard martha cakes can’t go wrong with the napoleon.

I had a very disappointing experience at this bakery, all because of the behavior of one of the employees working behind the counter. I came in for a simple fix on a cake—a minor smudge on the side that could have been easily addressed. Instead of helping, this lady made the entire situation unnecessarily unpleasant. It was a lady who seemed like in a managerial position who also picked up the phones.
She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, mouthing off not just to me but also to her co-workers. Her attitude was shockingly poor, making what should have been a quick and easy interaction into a stressful ordeal. I’ve never encountered such a nasty and unhelpful employee anywhere, and it honestly made me question whether I’d ever return.
The quality of the baked goods might be fine, but customer service matters just as much, and this experience was unacceptable. I hope the management takes note and addresses this issue because no customer should have to deal with such hostility.

My husband went to Martha on 12/23 to buy a strawberry cheese cake. The woman told him they don't have it. My husband asked if he can pay for it and pick it up later. She said NO!!! He has to call back at 1pm to check which he did. A man told him to come and pick it up. When he got there, the same woman told him again no strawberry Cheesecake!!! She has an altitude to start with since morning. We come to Martha for many years in Bayside. This is the worst experience! The staffs you hired represent your business. Management seriously need to look into this matter.
