Amazing service. I ordered using Uber eats but I somehow got the wrong item. However the customer service there made sure to deliver my correct order quick and fixed their mistake. I even got free items! The food is also always delicious.
I was grateful to the people at work for spreading happiness. I hope everyone is doing well.
I hope.

Beautiful food. Amazing flavors and even better service. Always a nice time coming here but there is a little bit of a wait time on the weekends. Still worth it tho!

So, I have been trying to try the famous Modoo halal ramen since last ramadan, as always, it was a 30 min wait, understandable they're very busy. We get seated and order our food. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We had to keep asking for napkins. Our water was never refilled, and the server forgot the order of the table next to us. The food was incredible, however, which made up for the experience, but seeing as the service was struggling, I was not impressed.

ordered three orders of Korean fried chicken and they were really small, thick soggy batter, dry, over-priced, and just underwhelming compared to other and better places.
The customer service was great.

Great place. One of the only halal places in NYC to get ramen. The food is delicious and the store looks pretty nice.

Admittedly, my favorite form of Korean food is Korean BBQ. However, I'm frequently trying to convince myself that maybe I enjoy other forms of Korean food. This place did not help me do this.
We started with the seafood pancake. The picture does it way too much justice, as it is infinitely smaller than it seems in the pictures (even ours) and really not worth it.
For the mains, we went with the spicy udon and house beef bulgogi. The former was fine-udon noodles will always be fine. The chicken really added nothing to it. The beef bulgogi was really where I had more of an issue. The lightly fried tofu was a nicer addition. However, I still truly do not understand what we paid for. The dish is called "bulgogi (stir fried beef)" and in the description includes that it has marinated slices of beef. However, when going to order it online, I was charged $5 to add beef. I thought maybe this meant I was adding extra beef, but this certainly cannot be the case with the amount of beef we were given.
Overall, while the food was very fine, the price just wasn't worth it. The $25 price point for the bulgogi dish was regretful. Finally, I was super interested in ordering chicken wings as so many of the reviews raved about these. There must have been a menu change in the interim, though, as the prices for even the smallest of chicken wings (10 pieces at $20) was not something I was going to pursue. Probably would have enjoyed the meal if it hadn't been so costly for an undetermined reason, which is unfortunate.

Food was yummy, service was great, the waiter noticed that I dropped food on my lap and helped me clean up and brought me napkins, it was a small gesture but made me happy!! Food was super affordable and service size was pretty big too.
It was okay. There are better korean places, but this one has the appeal of being halal. A bit concerned because some other reviews said that the food isn’t actually halal but thankfully my friend wasn’t too worried. Oxtail ramen was okay, I liked the spicy rice cakes. It was a nice experience and food has great value but I personally wouldn’t come back just for the food alone.

TLDR: Oxtail ramen was amazing and server Hannah was really kind and helpful. Had minimal wait time for takeout!
I’ve had food from here twice a couple years back and didn’t find anything particularly impactful so I never visited again. I was in the area today and in the mood for a nice flavorful ramen. I’ve had the creamy chicken ramen before which had a flavorful broth but I wasn’t a fan of the lean breast meat. I couldn’t recall when I was ordering but I’ve also had the miso ramen which was anticlimactic in terms of flavor. I discussed my preferences with my server Hannah who was so nice and helpful and suggested the oxtail ramen saying it’s her personal favorite. I followed her recommendation and can gratefully say it really hit the spot. A nice savory and hearty broth complemented by the scallion and crispy bean sprouts. I really enjoyed myself. I could be wrong because I haven’t had it in many years but the flavor of the broth was kind of reminiscent of the maruchan oriental noodle seasoning packet.
I’ve seen many of the other mixed reviews on here so I think everyone’s experience varies based off of multiple factors like what they’re ordering, who the staff is, etc. Fortunately I had a great experience this time.
I can agree with a comment in other reviews saying that the noodles are the portion size of one noodle packet. I ordered takeout so I went home and boiled another packet of noodles and was able to make 3 comfortable servings out of one order of ramen due to the generous amount of broth. I wasn’t obsessed with the lean and flavorless beef bulgogi but it worked in the overall dish so I’m not complaining.
Staff said wait time is 20-30 mins but I got my order in 10!

I had never properly eaten Korean food at a halal restaurant before, and this was my first time trying it. The ramen tasted a bit different than I expected, but in a good way. We tried two different kinds of ramen, and they each had distinct flavors, both of which were delicious. The prices are fair, the service is good, and the staff are helpful with recommendations if you ask. Parking can be challenging, but if you drive around the streets, you might get lucky.
