Sushi is always fresh, the rolls were very well made- Chef is great :) . Everyone is friendly. Sue is great. My mom always asks about Sue, we love her! The other staff is nice ad well. You definitely can’t go wrong when you get sushi here! Delicious. Bayside roll, wasabi roll, giants, summer, dragon, rainbow, winter,are my Favorite. Also the orange sashimi

Don't know if I'm the issue or if there might be a clash of culture. I feel as if I, my business, is not welcomed. I've been there about 5 times in the last two weeks. The reason I say this is because the waiter/ server isn't polite enough to return a hello when paying customers like my daughter and I enter the establishment. I have to say I'm personally not into sushi or bad service, so I will avoid this particular place. According to my daughter, as far as she can say, she rated the California rolls 6 out of 10.

The best sushi place in all New York my favorites : Caterpillar (shrimp tempura) Crab lover (kani, crab meat ) Crab meat croquette to die for 😋😋 We moved to Long Island 7 years ago go and still coming here to take outs my kids always love this place and we keep trying places but nooo 🫣 thanks

Last time I dined at Mr. Wasabi was probably 10 years ago. This place used to be great. I came for lunch recently and ordered chicken teriyaki. The chicken was sliced so thin and the chicken was very chewy. I did not eat the chicken at all. I also had a salad with ginger dressing. The greens were wilted and the ginger sauce was very bitter. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. So sad to see how the food has declined and the price was not cheap. Very disappointed

I have been coming here for many years and the food is consistently wonderful. I love the crab meat croquet, and all the variations of sushi rolls. It is definitely a great date night with the wife.

Always Taste Fresh ! I Love there Sashimi Salad with a Spicy Tuna Roll as my go to.
The food is very mid at best. I’ve dined in a number of times and had to-go also. The quality and freshness is not the best. It’s just good enough, but the prices make you think it would be better than it is.

The eel sauce was so salty that I did not even need the additional soy sauce to dip the roll in. My friends could not drink the broth because they were sure they would wake up with swollen faces the next morning. The udon only contained a heap of scallions and not much else. Usually, udon comes with other types of vegetables. My other friend ordered the ramen but the quality of noodle was subpar. It was too 뿔었어 to enjoy the ramen. Please use a better quality noodle. For the sake of people with high blood pressure and other health issues, the salt level must come down significantly. I would love to support the business in the future so please lower the sodium level!!!

we tried the mets, yankees and 4232 special roll. 4232 were really delicate and decent amount of spicy tuna. the soy sauce was too salty and we put large amount of wasabi in it, we couldn’t taste any wasabi.
