All I can say is WOW. The Mister and I were speechless. We had the Grilled Octopus, Grilled Calamari, Raw Oysters, and shared Lamb Chops with Lemon Potatoes. EVERYTHING was perfectly seasoned, cooked and fresh. Service was amazing and we’re definitely going back. I’m a chef with a pretty judgy palate and was thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend!

The food here is excellent, just like the one in Bayside. I had to limit my visits to the fall and winter though because in the summer every time I stop by all the doors are open and it feels like there is no AC on… bummer.

I always end up going to Maria’s down the street instead, which is equally good but has a really pleasant climate inside.

This Greek establishment is one of my favorite places to dine. The chef is amazing, the staff are absolutely awesome, and the food is as fresh as it comes. The lunch special is priced just right. Please try the seafood pasta.

We had catering delivered from this Bayside location for our backyard wedding and everything was phenomenal. Communication was excellent and the food was just as delicious as we remembered it being when we lived near their Astoria location. Thank you soooo much for delivering to us and making our wishes come true. Everybody including the kids loved the food!!

This was my first time at the Bayside location. The place was packed but it was the end of the 4th of July weekend so it's expected. The interior decor was pretty with its mediterranean motif, white tile & drift wood paneling. My friend and I were seated quickly which was a plus...BUT...it turned into an awkward evening because the table was right in front of the kitchen. The waiters were rushing back and forth which made our dining experience claustrophobic & uncomfortable. We were trying so hard to keep our space, but it was crowded and the table obstructed the egress to the kitchen. The waiters and staff were trying not to trip on one another because of this lack of clearance. I don't know who did the space planning for this restaurant, but from an interior standpoint, get rid of that (2) seat table. I guarantee it will ease the circulation for the waiters & staff.

Now onto the food. We ordered the grilled calamari, greek sausage, swiss chard & beets w/ garlic & EVOO. The greek sausage was phenomenal. It was seasoned, tasty and textured. I wish the portions were bigger though. The grilled calamari was also tasty, easy to bite into and fair portioned. The Swiss chard & beets, however, were bland, ordinary and nothing to get excited about. I guess you can drizzle some high quality olive oil to make it palatable, but that's all you can do. Overall, we had a good evening if it weren't for the seating arrangement. Would I go back to this place? Maybe?

Popular neighborhood spot - went for lunch and got a table immediately, though I’ve heard for dinner the wait can be much longer. Food was fresh, tasty and served quickly after ordering. The village salad was authentic (no lettuce), branzino was cleaned, deboned and perfectly seasoned/cooked. Lemon potatoes were earthy and not too citrusy. Only two bummers were that they don’t serve any coffee/espresso drinks and the Malvasia wine is only served by the bottle. Service was extremely friendly and prompt.

Everything about Taverna Kyclades Bayside was perfect—the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. The whole staff was so kind and attentive, and our waiter John had such a professional and warm energy that really made the night memorable. You can tell he cares about every guest having a great experience.
