Love love love this place! Come here often for my evening dessert after dinner (strawberry tart is my fave♥️). Always super clean and staff is always super friendly! i’ve never had a bad experience here and the supervisor Annabella, i think that’s her name’ in the evening is always helpful ♥️♥️
Our favorite local place in the neighborhood!
Nice selection!

Excellent cakes and pastries. One of the best places in NY.
Beautiful bakery, amazing customer service from Nancy. She was warm and attentive. Also made a couple of jokes with me. Amazing
I was in town visiting my friend who recommended me this place. When I entered the store I was greeted by wonderful staff members. They were so helpful and so patient with me. I was amazed by all the delicious pastries and food they had. I was overwhelmed of what to choose but the staff gave me recommendations and they were so patient with me. I loved their sweets and sandwiches. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
I’ve been going to this bakery for years, and it’s one of the best in the neighborhood! The girls are always nice and helpful, and even when it’s busy the staff is always accommodating. The pastries are so tasty and the desserts are well-constructed. Their coffee is also great both iced and hot.
They offer a variety of breads, savory sandwiches, and amazing quiches. The coffee here is smooth, flavorful and not at all bitter. But unfortunately the kyoto cold brew always tastes like cardboard… not sure what’s going on there, but very unpleasant.
A good deal better than Martha’s country bakery in my opinion. Also a pleasant place to sit down and take a load off.
The bayside location is run by a very toxic manager named Kat. She is going to get this company sued for her behavior. She threatened me numerous times through the eight months I worked there. She uses fear mongering to “manage” employees. She has talked down to almost all my coworkers. There has been many times we did not receive breaks and work past our time with no gratitude shown. There is no respect and she gets away with highly illegal threats. If I took another sick day I would get fired (illegal). If I spoke to a coworker during down time, I would get fired. Threat after threat and I never called out and I deserved respect and appreciation, not a toxic work environment. Stella should be running the store, she is way more professional. I feel bad for all the friends I made there that were talked down to. In my 18 years of working, I have never met a worse person. It is truly sad to have been threatened on Christmas Eve. I gave my two weeks and tried to be professional, but her emotions got the best of her and she told me not to return. She has no control over her “pride” and they have given her way too much power in her position. She thinks she is untouchable. I hope one of the workers takes legal action. I do not have the energy to take this further.

There are many types of desserts, and there are also many savory items. The checkout amount is the marked price without tax. I ordered a triple chocolate and it was a bit too sweet.

As always the desserts are delish. But the children that you have working behind the counter tonight need to learn some customer service. I was assisted by the Asian girl who i was asking a question. She couldnt understand what i was asking her and then she got annoyed. So she didnt even finish assisting me. And whispered something to the cashier. Which was impatient also.

I don't usually like to write reviews but when you come to pay for good quality food they should provide that quality with the quantity for what they charge. The reason why 2 stars is because when I ordered 3 types of sandwiches, one with chicken another with honey turkey and the other with salmon smoke fish. I asked to cut on each sandwich to 3 slices because it was three of us and we wanted to share it and the staff told me they can't but only can cut 2 slices plus I have to ask manager's permission.. really what is that some kind of kindergarten rules.. So I didn't go further with this nonesense and when I opened the sandwich it was mostly all bread but very little of protein and vegetables and most of it just thick bread. The most of all the sandwich was smoke salmon which there was barely any salmon inside.. when I looked at it it was one thin slice of salmon and the rest was alot of creamchease and a bit veggies and very thick bread.. I usually if I get lux salmon smoke fish sandwich from other good places you can see its a good portion of salmon and veggies in the sandwich but in this place it's unbelievable...So, that was my last straw to decide if I want to come back. To my opinion the manager who is running this place based upon how the service is and the crazy rules on what customers ask for, should know, its not professional to run a business like that.

The girl helping me was terrible... I would have complained at the bakery but one of the other girls was complimenting her for handling the entire right side of the counter alone.. so I figured they are just under staffed and stretched thin.
The real issue that is getting the 1 star review is the fact that the gave me FULL CAFFEINE COFFEE. I called before going to make sure they had decaf still and they assured me they did. At the bakery I double and triple verified that the coffee was decaf... I was awake until 7am. So disrespectful.
