LUST FOR LIFE

Omg I saw a cockroach crawling up the wall as we were eating!!!!! I really wanted to love this place but it was crawling next to my sister in laws head! Her seat was against the wall!!!

My friend and I decided to come here for a lite dinner. We have been here 2 other times before. Usually the food was pretty good.

The service is always great here. That's the good news. The staff are fast, mindful, and a tentative.

We sat down and were given whipped butter with flatbread and dinner rolls. The flatbread was hard but the dinner rolls were great. Especially with the whipped butter.

We ordered fried calamari and ravioli with crab meat.
It pains me to say it but.... This was just not good. The calamari needs to have more of a crisp/crunch to the breading. Also was lacking flavor. Guess they don't season it.

You'd figure in an Italian spot the pasta would be good. Ug how'd they get this so wrong. The pasta for the ravioli was way too thick. Destroyed the meal.

Sadly our favorite thing we had was the whipped butter and bread rolls.

Quiet little restaurant, decent price for pasta with fancy restaurant service. The portions are excellent. I ordered the chicken scaparelli.

Went here with a huge party of around 15 people, and the pasta dishes here are very unique and they have a huge variety of choices. Overall, i suggest the vodka pasta. Also this restaurant has waiters who constantly are there for you and check in on you. Overall, the experience was pretty good and i enjoyed the calamari too.

i went here with my mom on a sunday afternoon date, she said her shrimp were cooked perfectly but the pasta was bland. the cauliflower appetizer was unexpectedly delightful. i was expecting it to be heavy but it was refreshing. i chose the basic pizza and fresh out of the oven it was lovely, but it wasn't really standing out from other brick oven pizza places.
Our server was nice and professional as one does. Atmosphere was a bit cold. i suppose all restaurants blast the AC.
ill probably check out the specials if i decide to go back

The atmosphere was the same every time, the ingredients and taste never betrayed my expectations, and the owner was always cheerful, but when I went back in November 2024, the oysters were just average and I thought two were shredded... I complained and they came with four, but they were the freshest of all. I heard that it was even more bitter, and the clam pasta didn't get better. Two of the six menu items were very disappointing..

I made a reservation for three. They made us wait for 30 minutes, then the table they led us to was as tiny as a coffee table for the three of us. It was all the way in the back of the room. We were all in shock and had to ask for another table!
I will never come back this restaurant. Awful experience.

My husband and I usually go to this restaurant and we are always very satisfied with everything, with the food, with Edwin's attention and the atmosphere inside this restaurant.

We were 4 at dinner on a busy Friday night.
The servers were attentive, polite & professional.
The food & beverages came in a timely manner & came in cold or hot depending on what was ordered.
The appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, zucchini chips & mozzarella) were delicious.
FYI, thankfully, the stuffed mushrooms don't have any seafood in the stuffing (I'm allergic).
I had the Chicken Marsala. So good. The taste of wine comes through just delicately enough to be obvious but not overwhelming.
My friend had the Chicken Francese. Again, lemon comes through but not overwhelming. Bright & tasty.
We got the Francese & Marsala with spaghetti in an olive oil sauce, which was absolutely delicious.
My husband got the porkchop. He said it was very good. I can tell you it is a big chop. Get ready for it lol.
My friend's husband got an eggplant dish with prosciutto. Don't know what it was called. He said it was ok but the prosciutto was too salty (maybe sliced too thick?).
They also make pizza. Going back to try that.
Definitely going back.

Love their eggplant rollatini. Caesar salad was so good. I remember I couldn’t get enough of their penne alla vodka.
