They specialize in beautifully crafted Korean rice cakes (tteok), which are ordered for all kinds of special occasions — from first birthdays (doljanchi) and weddings to anniversaries and traditional holidays. I’ve been coming here for over ten years, and it’s always been a special place for my family. Even when there’s no celebration, my daughter and I like to stop by just to enjoy their delicious rice cakes. There’s something comforting and nostalgic about the flavors — soft, chewy, and just the right level of sweetness.
However, since COVID, I’ve noticed a change in the texture. The rice cakes don’t seem as chewy or fresh as before, and it feels like they might be using more flour in their mix, possibly to cut costs. It’s a noticeable difference, especially to someone who’s been a loyal customer for so long.
I truly hope they go back to their original recipe and continue the high quality that made them so loved in the first place. Their traditional desserts deserve that care and attention.

I had an amazing experience at this place, I ordered more than 3 times already including my mom's birthday. Rice cake was fresh and delicious!! the staffs were incredibly kind. I will definably order in the future.

My friend and I stopped by and bought two different kinds of rice cake. They were both really hard and not chewy or soft. Items were pretty pricy in general, so do their tea drinks.
The soybean powder rice cake tasted savory.. sesame oil taste was really strong.

I ordered Pumpkin Rice Cake for my mom’s 80th birthday. It was first time and I wasn’t sure if I made a good choice and everyone loved it!! Personally I think it’s much healthier compared to cake we usually buy, service was awesome too!!

I purchased *songpyeon* and tried it on the spot. The rice cake was hard and tasted almost stale, with a sour flavor. When I asked if it was really made today, they said it was. The store should take better care of how they store their rice cakes. If this is the quality of a freshly made rice cake, it's clearly a case of poor storage. I've visited every Chuseok, but this time the rice cake was the worst, and I don’t plan to return. At this quality, it's no different from mass-produced, low-quality products.

A decent and only place for Korean rice cakes and drinks in the area, but the price has been so high and the old Korean lady is so stinge and not mannered for her customers. When asked for hot water after ordering lots of stuffs including cups of tea, she dared to say no. When it seemed clear that we were leaving, she acted like the hot water was being prepared. We were the only customers and it was not busy at all. I don't feel like going there again anymore. Oh Lady, you may lose big things when you are being so stinge over little things especially for your long time customers.
The owner was very rude and ignorant, not worth it to make a trip here- at least our first and last time for sure. Waste of time and energy
