We loved it. I think the cats may have been a little tired of people but to be fair it was later on in the day. There were still cats that wanted to be pet but there were a bunch sleeping in the off limits area. We still loved it and would 100% do it again!!! Bring quarters to give them treats, sadly we didn't know about this and didn't have coins on us.

We stumbled upon Beans on a walk thru Beacon. And I can't be any happier that we did. This small , inviting little cafe was just what we needed. The 2 young ladies working were very friendly and explained all rules as well as directed us to the listed version as we washed our hands. Our drinks were delicious and honestly exceeded our expectations.
Now, the cats. All the cats there were clean, and sweet , there was not a smell and the whole cafe was clean and smelled good. I highly recommend visiting and getting a boost of love , while also helping rescue cats get seen and get love. Please visit if you're in Beacon.

this cat cafe has the cutest kitties, friendly staff, and some really yummy drinks/snacks. the price for a 30 min session is about $7 i believe which i think is a steal because that’s plenty of time to hang out with the kitties. i love going here whenever i need a serotonin boost. i even adopted one of my cats from this cafe!! :) things to know before you go:

1. DO NOT PICK UP THE CATS IN ANY WAY! this is the cardinal rule of the cafe, as the staff want to ensure the kitties are comfortable and safe. cats get scared very easily and the staff want them to learn to trust humans. picking them up without their consent is a sure way to break that trust. the staff tell you this as soon as you walk into the cat area, along with other important rules of the cafe, so make sure you’re paying attention.

2. get a drink/snack before you go in to hang with the cats to ensure you get the full 30 mins! you can also book a full hour for i think $12 or $14?? either way, still a great price!

3. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF TIME! especially if you’re planning on going during the weekend or holidays. the cafe is small so the wait times can get long. you can book an appointment online too! planning ahead is always a good idea.

Cute cats but terrible customer service. I was so excited to come here and finding out there’s a cat cafe in Beacon. Everything was fine until I helped a cat get down. I helped it get down because it looked like he was struggling (he had no tail.) Alice (or Alex ) barged into the room yelled at me that I “can’t pickup the cats or you’re gonna have to leave.” Which by the way, no one told me that cats couldn’t be picked up. An easy fix would’ve been “Hey, sorry. You can’t pick up the cats.” Not yell at someone and threaten to kick them out? When I told her about this easy fix she said with an attitude “that’s the rule.”

Edit: 1. If telling your employee why I picked up the cat and that I didn’t like she yelled at me is “verbal abuse” to you but you’re okay. with your employees yelling at your customers - well then, good luck with your business.

cute little place where you can hang out with some well taken care of kitties! definitely recommend making an appointment. the space is small so it makes sense that they only let in a limited amount of people at a time. i didn’t try any of the coffee as we were there to adopt and had my hands full, but it smelled so good! knowledgable staff and sweet cats 🐱

The Matcha latte tasted good and the cats were very cute. We were allowed to go in early so we got extra time with the cats.

Capuchino & Chai were terrible. They had only 3 cats, and the waiting time to be with the cats was 40mins. It's a really small place.

the cats were great, and it is true, the ones with a collar can be a bit more feisty. knocking a star down because we were way past capacity (listed at 8 by the door) in that room, which did not seem like a great idea for the space and amount of cats, even if that means immediate entry

My daughter and I love Beans Cat Cafe! We can’t have cats at home due to family allergies, so this is the next best thing! Highly recommend the Paris Fog tea as well!

We recently visited Beans Cat Cafe and had a good experience. There were so many cats to interact with, and while some were quite friendly, others seemed uninterested. The staff was pleasant but not overly attentive. I ordered a tea, which was average in taste. Overall, our visit was enjoyable. For cat lovers, this cafe is worth a visit.

This is one of the smaller cat cafe's I've been to, but pretty decent all around. I've visited twice, and would highly recommend visiting at a time when there are very few (or zero) other people visiting the cats, mostly due to spacing/number of cats that are active at a time. I haven't gotten any drinks or food from here, but my partner has remarked that the drinks are pretty good. While the place seems to need some TLC, the space is relatively clean with the number of cats it hosts.

If I were to go off the above alone, I would say this is a solid 4 star place. However, I have to dock off a star purely because of the smell. I have a cat at home, and am very familiar with the odors that come from a litter box, but I genuinely struggled to stay for the full 30 minutes during my last visit because the litter/pee smell was so strong (this was even on the complete other side of the room, 2.5 hrs after opening). Looking at other recent reviews, it seems I'm not alone with this issue. I hope the owners can take steps to remediate this, as it's not really worth it for me to return because of this issue.

30 min at the cafe for $10! we showed up 10 minutes late but we still got ample times with the cats. a few were sleepy but we got to play and pet a lot of cute kitties. I didn’t get the coffee but the menu looked like it had a big variety. definitely recommend!
