“Lovely little cafe. The owner is friendly and accommodating. She was more than happy to answer our questions, as this was a new experience. We had a platter of appetizers and bread and Turkish tea. Very tasty. We didn't feel rushed at all, which was pleasant. Highly recommend.”

“From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. We were seated within a minute and greeted immediately by a friendly, attentive server who offered to walk us through the specials and made sure we had everything we needed.

Service was impressively well paced—our appetizers arrived within minutes, and our main courses followed shortly after we finished them. It was clear the staff was attentive and communicating well with the kitchen.

The food was outstanding. My steelhead trout over couscous was cooked perfectly, and my wife’s New York strip steak was equally excellent. The homemade biscuits are a must—slightly sweet and completely unique.

We finished with a fun dessert: a root beer float for me and a great after-dinner drink for my wife. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy our meal, and the live piano and bass playing jazz added a wonderful touch.

The bill was very reasonable, and we left completely satisfied.

“Wow, the poke bowl I got today was amazing. They have a touch screen where you can add whatever you want and as you can see from my picture I added pretty much everything you could possibly add. The yellowtail, salmon and tuna were all delicious. And all the toppings and vegetables were fresh and crisp. The bowl had so many different flavors and textures, it was really incredibly delicious.”

“Came here solo after dinner for dessert and wine. The owner was super friendly and even suggested a wine for me. I got the cheesecake, which was so good. It was a chill place to read my book, enjoy the Latin music they were playing, and just relax into a glass of wine. Highly recommend ending your night here!”

“I have almost lived in Beacon for 10 years and never been here. I dropped my daughter off at dance last week and got my two little ones a chocolate chip cookie and it looked and was so delicious! Have to go back and try some other stuff.”

“Oh what a lovely experience! There are little gifts for the Who-fandom scattered throughout the space, which is so welcoming and airy. I spent ages just looking around and fangirling! The person who took our orders was so sweet and so knowledgeable and we loved everything we ordered. They have vegan, vegetarian and GF options so it’s really inclusive. The teas are delicious - we had the Jammy Dodger and it was just perfection. Such a special experience! I can’t wait to go back!”

“Liked going to coopers due to their daily happy hour but was surprised on Friday whenever I was told that there was no daily happy hour and it was just Monday-Thursday. It easily doubled our tab. We checked the website and it still said daily as well as the newly placed sign on main street and the newest post to their social media (posted on the same Friday). The server did give us two canned beers for the inconvenience (one a piece) but it makes me distrust if I'll have the same issue if I ever go back looking for the daily happy hour.

“First time here. Great spot to chill out. They had a live DJ (DJ Big Will) who was spinning some great songs for the evening. The food was good (had some cheeseburger sliders and fries) the bartender was great. I'm not a big drinker, but they had these hard ciders that were very good. Definitely a nice spot I can see coming back to.”

“We love everything about Sal's in Beacon and in Fishkill. The staff are some of the best I've experienced anywhere. They're welcoming and friendly, and they're kind to my kids. They greet everyone with hometown vibes when you walk into the store. It really feels like family! Their pizza is delicious too - we all have our favorites, but I prefer the BBQ chicken (for the sweet/tangy flavor combo) and margarita specialty slices. And of course we can't forget their wraps, sandwiches, etc... So many options from which to choose! Overall a great dining experience.”

“I really enjoyed my dinner here! I stopped in after doing some work for a quick bite to eat and ordered the chicken quesadilla which was fresh and exactly what I was craving. I honestly overate because it was just that good! It came with three sides; salsa, sour cream and guacamole. I'm particular about my guacamole but there's was perfect👌. The restaurant is clean, easy to get to and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. I didn't wait too long for my dinner and they were on the ball with staying on top of drinks and checking in. I got a tiramisu to go because I couldn't pass it up on the way out. 😋 I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant again!”
