Lore's Cafe is a cozy little gem in Beacon, easily accessible off S Elm Street. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and peaceful, with great decor and solid music. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the sweetest, with an owner who radiates kind, warm, and passionate energy. The coffee is seriously next-level, with options like an Oat-milk Vanilla Latte, an Iced Chai Latte, and an oat milk Hazelnut latte. Desserts are delicious and unique, including the awesome tres leches, Mixed Berry Cheesecake, and the Ricotta Pistachio cake which is delicate, airy, and not super sweet. Pastries, especially the croissants, are the best, perfectly flaky, buttery, and fresh. The chicken pesto sandwich is delicious. Great for coffee, breakfast sweets, or savory bites from the Balkans. The cafe is a little off the main street, keeping it from getting overcrowded, and prices are super reasonable. A little gem that deserves all the love.
