“First time in Beacon and in desperate need of 1) a tasty beverage and 2) a chill spot (literally and figuratively) to watch the World Cup. Mission accomplished. We’d heard about The Roosevelt and made our way in. We were welcomed right away by Luke, who took care of us with some desperately needed waters and frosty beers. We had a lovely afternoon of footy and lively banter with Luke, who treated us and everyone else in the bar like best buds. We’d planned to leave at the half but the vibes were so strong (in spite of a boring game) that we decided to stay. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back.“

“This is the best restaurant I have been to in a while. Definitely the best in Beacon, by far. Love the atmosphere, and the food was incredible. Some could argue that it's a small menu, but EVERYTHING on it is delicious. The service was phenomenal. So friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough ❤️❤️“

“My wife and I had an amazing brunch. The cocktails were well crafted and tasty. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. My wife had the chicken and waffles. Normally she only has a few bites of the waffles because they are almost an afterthought in conceiving the dish and usually need a lot of butter or syrup. These were so flavorful on their own and paired wonderfully with the crispy chicken. I had the Moroccan scramble which included merguez sausage. The only negative was the online reservation system which seemed to be malfunctioning. We almost missed out on this fabulous meal because it indicated the restaurant had no availability.“

“a much needed meal after going on a rocky and steep hike up beacon mountain. came on a saturday night and they had live music. the menu felt very fall forward with a couple dishes having apples in it. we tried the focaccia (loved), pierogis, crispy potatoes (delicious), biscuit with honey butter (lovely), pork chop (well cooked), angolotti (tasty mushrooms), sea bass, and skewers.“

“Dined here with my family tonight for the first time and we ALL loved everything about Hudson Taco. We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. We loved everything that we ordered and look forward to returning soon. Also, I wish that I could remember our servers name because she was just that good! Thanks for providing our family with a great night out.“
