“We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. “Oh what a lovely experience! There are little gifts for the Who-fandom scattered throughout the space, which is so welcoming and airy. I spent ages just looking around and fangirling! The person who took our orders was so sweet and so knowledgeable and we loved everything we ordered. They have vegan, vegetarian and GF options so it’s really inclusive. The teas are delicious - we had the Jammy Dodger and it was just perfection. Such a special experience! I can’t wait to go back!“

“We ordered the cheese platter appetizer along with hummus with chicken added. It was more than enough for two and utterly delicious!! I highly recommend. I do wish I had kalamata olives on the cheese plate but everything was delicious and worth every calorie. ❤️“

“I liked the vibes, calm environment and really nice lighting (I love in between bright and dim in restaurants), food came out fast but granted it wasn’t very busy and it was kinda late. The cappuccino was definitely not a cappuccino though it was just a coffee lol, but that’s the only complaint.“

“I went here in the morning around 8:30am-9am for breakfast sandwich. Both times was great, service was quick and the food came out hot. I ate inside and was a nice atmosphere to have a quick bite to eat for breakfast. I asked for a Egg, Sausage and Bacon (extra crispy bacon) and they cooked it exactly how I wanted it. Would come here again.“

“My mom and I had a wonderful lunch here yesterday! My mom is a tough cookie to please and she absolutely loved her sandwich (she had the BLTA). I had the eggplant sandwich and it was divine. You should definitely stop in here for lunch next time you are in beacon and want to eat something good with a friendly and casual atmosphere!“

“This place is a dream come true for someone with a dairy allergy who craves donuts on the daily. I live somewhere where vegan anything is impossible to come by, so I went crazy and just about got one of everything! My favorite was the lemon poppyseed glazed donut. It was chewy, fluffy, and possibly the most satisfying vegan donut I've ever had. I would quite honestly plan another vacation to NY around the promise of getting more of these donuts. I'm obsessed!!“
