“I have almost lived in Beacon for 10 years and never been here. I dropped my daughter off at dance last week and got my two little ones a chocolate chip cookie and it looked and was so delicious! Have to go back and try some other stuff.“

“A solid enough brunch spot. The best thing we had was the breakfast burrito - heavy, rich, crispy bacon added a lot of texture and the burrito was well grilled. I wish it had salsa with it, but it was good. For the BLTA, it was not a lot of avocado, and maybe not quite enough tomato. The bread was good, but it turns out they don’t make the bread here despite the name. The worst thing was probably the pancakes - no butter flavor at all, no buttermilk flavor, no salt. Very cakey, dessert-like, fairly plain to a certain extent. The outdoor seating is nice because the wait for a table was long, but it’s takeout only when you’re outside so of course no plates or cutlery.“

“Me and my wife are breakfast enthusiasts. Whether it is a new Diner or a new restaurant we are always looking for a new breakfast spot. We came here after my wife had a minor dental procedure. There was a little wait but we didn't mind it was like 5 minutes. When we were seated we were greeted by our waitress, Jennifer. She was awesome all morning. Very vibrant personality with great energy. She explained menu items made my wife a special Coffee and made our experience that much better. The food was outstanding. My wife had scrambled eggs with French toast because she could not eat anything super hard and she has been talking about those eggs days after we left. I got an omelette with pancakes and they were very good. The price to food ratio was outstanding. We are looking forward to coming back. We recently moved to the area and sometimes go to a diner or cracker barrel but it think this will be our new go to for breakfast and once we try the lunch or dinner it will be our go to for that as well. “The cheesecake at Best Fudgin Cakes is the best in NY, and the best I've ever had!!!! The rainbow cookies are the highest quality I've ever eaten made with real almond marzipan and ganache. The cinnamon rolls, the scones, the truffles and cookies are absolutely delicious. Homemade incredible and amazing quality products with a fair price.“

“Was meeting with an old friend from Jersey and I knew just the spot to take her to. Ive been here several times and it never loses its WOW factor. Jones farm is nestled on a side road off of route 9W south. When you park youre greeted with small horses, chickens and ducks . The cafe has everything you could be looking for! Farmstand meets cafe. Anything from fresh veggies and homemade pies to chicken and waffles or a great sandwich. You can dine in or weather permitting, you can choose to dine on their patio and get the occasional chicken visitor while taking in the beautiful views of the mountains surrounding. You clean up after yourself which some may not be into but it was no issue for us. We had a school age child and an infant with us. The cafe, gift shop and art studio are not stroller friendly but we had no issue just parking the stroller and walking through. I think an elevator would take away from the rustic charm this place offers. I will always reccomend this place. Especially at Christmas. The decor accompanied with a soft dusting of snow makes for a truly picturesque setting.“

“So far, I have loved every different item on their menu. The omelets are delicious, sandwiches are fantastic. Cream cheeses are always fresh. Staff is amazing. It’s a busy spot, so get there earlier than 9am. Prices are about average. Try them out! They have a few locations and all are really good!“
