My husband and I live in a rural area in PA and have a Difficult time finding really good baked goods. He is from Long Island and says NY has the best food in the world… whatever… LOL…. Anyway I found the Rockland Bakery in Newbergh, NY and we took a ride to check it out. They were easy to get to not far into Newbergh off of Interstate 84, we got Bagles, Kaiser rolls, cannolis, brownies and donuts. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff has always been very nice and the food they make at this actual store is what I prefer to get. I have never been to their main location further south of here but supposedly the rest of the other items are shipped daily.Pastries were a very good price and tasty. The cheese danish is very good and fresh. They serve cakes, pies, regular style coffee, bagels and many varieties of bread.The owner was very respectful of my little kids eating a cookie by telling a loud foul...read full review

The best cakes not dry at all and I definitely recommend there pastries, the cannolis are fire. The service is immaculate everybody is bilingual so they speak spanish and english. The location is a little questioning but it is actually not bad at all. I definitely recommend.
