The black beans came very close to my own -- which I take great pride in making. It was a throughly wonderful experience. Let me add that La Panaderia has the best Latin food in Peekskill. The juices are to die tor.“

“Stopped by this morning and picked up a biscuit and loaf of the pepper and Gruyère sourdough. Man that crust is delicious! The loaf was light, airy, and deliciously tangy with a mild bite from the pepper. Highly recommend🙂“

“I’m glad there’s a Paris Baguette open up in Yorktown. It’s good to see more options. My only pet peeve is that I find there’s a difference between that store and the corporate store in Montvale. I wish that some of the items that you can have made at the corporate store were made at the Paris baguette store in Yorktown with the same quality. “Was meeting with an old friend from Jersey and I knew just the spot to take her to. Ive been here several times and it never loses its WOW factor. Jones farm is nestled on a side road off of route 9W south. When you park youre greeted with small horses, chickens and ducks . The cafe has everything you could be looking for! Farmstand meets cafe. Anything from fresh veggies and homemade pies to chicken and waffles or a great sandwich. You can dine in or weather permitting, you can choose to dine on their patio and get the occasional chicken visitor while taking in the beautiful views of the mountains surrounding. You clean up after yourself which some may not be into but it was no issue for us. We had a school age child and an infant with us. The cafe, gift shop and art studio are not stroller friendly but we had no issue just parking the stroller and walking through. I think an elevator would take away from the rustic charm this place offers. I will always reccomend this place. Especially at Christmas. The decor accompanied with a soft dusting of snow makes for a truly picturesque setting.“

“I LOVE Rockland Bakery. The people are friendly, and the food is amazing. They make the donuts fresh every morning on site! Hands down the better pastry from any chain coffee place. I will go out of my way in the morning to grab something delicious to start my day. Today’s choice was the cappuccino chocolate chip muffins. Parking can be hard sometimes but it’s worth it!“

You get great service, and it is one of the few places I actually go for the compulsory tip culture that I usually turn away from. They are just a great dive, always smelling good, looking good, and worth picking up cookies from when you can. Cookies, literally all they do, and they do it well as anyone could. Only complaint?
