“Today I visited The Main Course & purchased a good size order. All of the employees are always so nice. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Tim. He is most courteous and kind to all customers. Packs the orders so neatly. Such a friendly and professional disposition. He is such an asset to this business. I witnessed him taking orders and was so impressed. Every employee , including Tim, is so welcoming that patrons will always come back. And the food is soooo delicious. I tell all my friends to go here. Keep up the good work.“

“Such a nice local ice cream shop! Loved the variety on the menu and they even had a frozen dog treats. Flavors and quality of the ice cream are great. Today I had a coconut Kit Kat that was excellent but they also had some vegan/nondairy options that looked tasty. The outdoor area is nice to sit at and dog-friendly. Also appreciate that this is woman and LGBTQ+ owned.“

“This place is a dream come true for someone with a dairy allergy who craves donuts on the daily. I live somewhere where vegan anything is impossible to come by, so I went crazy and just about got one of everything! My favorite was the lemon poppyseed glazed donut. It was chewy, fluffy, and possibly the most satisfying vegan donut I've ever had. I would quite honestly plan another vacation to NY around the promise of getting more of these donuts. I'm obsessed!!“

We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. I recently went on (04/05) for my 31st birthday and I wanted to say I was astounded by the flavor and composition of my special. I ordered the rabbit. As someone who cherishes local and seasonal ingredients, this menu item was a slam dunk. Between the rabbit, the mustard greens and the delightful dancing of purple radish on my plate…I was beyond satiated by the balance and beauty of this dish. Hats off to the chef who designed this and those who executed it. It was amazing. And I’ve been telling everyone about it at work. “We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly.
