Yes, you should expect long lines—especially on weekends—but they move faster than you’d think, and the payoff is worth every minute. “A delightful hidden gem in Cornwall! We stopped for coffee after lunch and ended up spending a memorable two hours here. The farm is charming, family-owned, and full of warmth and hospitality. The coffee was excellent, and the homemade carrot cake was absolutely to die for. On a beautiful summer afternoon, the peaceful ambiance was food for the soul. A must-visit—not just for the delicious treats, but for the sense of calm and joy you'll take home.“

“Absolutely amazing store! Helpful staff, superb selection, and a surprisingly fun experience for a quick stop. We were tourists passing through and ended up learning so much about local ciders and products that it felt like a mini tour. If you like cider or wine and are passing through, definitely make a pit stop! Have a great selection of hard to find whiskies as well.

We actually happened upon the store on our way to a friend’s house for wine and were so impressed that we stopped back on our way out when we had more time to explore.

On our first visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection of wines and how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. They were happy to make recommendations, and I was especially excited to find several Portuguese wines that we love.

On our second trip, we decided we needed to explore the cider selection. They have a HUGE selection, with 100+ options, several on tap, and some uncommon cider products I was excited to learn about, including Pommeau and Ice Cider.

Gennaro was an incredible resource and clearly has a genuine passion for cider. With so many options, it was great to have someone who could help narrow down the choices. He also gave us a mini education on cider, Pommeau, and Ice Cider that honestly felt worthy of a distillery tour! With so many options, I decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity to stock-up beyond the capacity of my carry-on. Gennaro even went out of his way to carefully box up my purchases so they would have the best chance of making it through the airline luggage system.

The selection, knowledgeable staff, and overall experience really can’t be beat. They also seem to have lots of events, tasting opportunities and fun excuses to stop in. We came in expecting to grab a few cans and ended up having one of the more memorable stops of our trip. Highly recommend!“

“We stopped by Putnam Valley Market because we were told they had the best mozzarella balls, but unfortunately, since it was a Sunday, they were already sold out. 😩 That was the only thing we missed out on, because everything else was great!

Conveniently located right on the corner, the market had an amazing variety of items. The pizza looked delicious, and they even had a unique pizza with eggs on it—I’m assuming it was a breakfast pizza—and it looked absolutely amazing! Since it was only 10 AM, we weren’t quite ready for pizza yet. 😂

Our kids grabbed some snacks, we spotted some cute Coca-Cola bottles, and my husband was happy to find his cigar. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, and the tap-and-pay option made checkout super easy. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it a great little stop.

We’ll definitely be back anytime we’re in the area—hopefully next time we can finally get those famous mozzarella balls! 🧀❤“

“Cookies flavors are delicious. Never been disappointed, enough calories to last a week. And not only is service quick, but everybody is super sweet and I’ve never had a problem with the staff. Im tired of people talking about how Crumbl is “diabetes in a cookie” Or “overpriced for just one cookie”. Nobody is forcing you to eat the whole thing in one day. That is your own choice.“

“Fun little place with good cocktails and inexpensive flights. The bartender was a delight too. Know that it can get a little warm in there in the Summer. The regular bourbon and cask-strength bourbon were both really good (though I liked them better on ice). The apple brandy was a little weird.“

“We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. “I’m glad there’s a Paris Baguette open up in Yorktown. It’s good to see more options. My only pet peeve is that I find there’s a difference between that store and the corporate store in Montvale. I wish that some of the items that you can have made at the corporate store were made at the Paris baguette store in Yorktown with the same quality. Otherwise, than that I look forward to them improving and growing in the area.“
