“Saw the line outside and I thought it must be very good if there is a line and honestly it didn’t disappoint and not a letdown. We got two flavors chocolate and a sorbet flavor which were both incredible. When we mixed it together in one cup it was so good and I would highly recommend it. Since the ice cream shops was right next to the water, we got to watch the sunset go down while sitting and enjoying our ice cream and it was truly the most magical experience ever. I would highly recommend going you won’t be disappointed.“

Had one of the best ham and cheese toasted sandwiches of my life last time. Great outdoor seating with comforting views, and lots of stuff to look around and shop. Five stars!“

“Absolutely amazing store! Helpful staff, superb selection, and a surprisingly fun experience for a quick stop. We were tourists passing through and ended up learning so much about local ciders and products that it felt like a mini tour. If you like cider or wine and are passing through, definitely make a pit stop! Have a great selection of hard to find whiskies as well.

We actually happened upon the store on our way to a friend’s house for wine and were so impressed that we stopped back on our way out when we had more time to explore.

On our first visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection of wines and how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. They were happy to make recommendations, and I was especially excited to find several Portuguese wines that we love.

On our second trip, we decided we needed to explore the cider selection. They have a HUGE selection, with 100+ options, several on tap, and some uncommon cider products I was excited to learn about, including Pommeau and Ice Cider.

Gennaro was an incredible resource and clearly has a genuine passion for cider. With so many options, it was great to have someone who could help narrow down the choices. He also gave us a mini education on cider, Pommeau, and Ice Cider that honestly felt worthy of a distillery tour! With so many options, I decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity to stock-up beyond the capacity of my carry-on. Gennaro even went out of his way to carefully box up my purchases so they would have the best chance of making it through the airline luggage system.

The selection, knowledgeable staff, and overall experience really can’t be beat. They also seem to have lots of events, tasting opportunities and fun excuses to stop in. We came in expecting to grab a few cans and ended up having one of the more memorable stops of our trip. Highly recommend!“

“Really great food especially the specials. The space is a bit small but it looked like they have a spacious outdoor seating area. Their website said they don't take reservations but they give you a call when your table is ready which let us walk along Main Street for a bit! “My husband and I stopped here for some much needed reprieve from the over-crowded establishments of Beacon on a Saturday in the fall. We had an amazing time listening to stellar music and drinking the fantastic house cocktails (he had the Holy Grail and I had the Harvest Moon -- both excellent!). The owner (or manager?) of Denning's made sure we had a place to sit and let us know that we could bring in takeout food -- which we did! Wonderful night and will definitely go again next time we're in Beacon to try the tasting room.“

“We stopped by Putnam Valley Market because we were told they had the best mozzarella balls, but unfortunately, since it was a Sunday, they were already sold out. 😩 That was the only thing we missed out on, because everything else was great!

Conveniently located right on the corner, the market had an amazing variety of items. The pizza looked delicious, and they even had a unique pizza with eggs on it—I’m assuming it was a breakfast pizza—and it looked absolutely amazing! Since it was only 10 AM, we weren’t quite ready for pizza yet. 😂

Our kids grabbed some snacks, we spotted some cute Coca-Cola bottles, and my husband was happy to find his cigar. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, and the tap-and-pay option made checkout super easy. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it a great little stop.

“Cookies flavors are delicious. Never been disappointed, enough calories to last a week. And not only is service quick, but everybody is super sweet and I’ve never had a problem with the staff. Im tired of people talking about how Crumbl is “diabetes in a cookie” Or “overpriced for just one cookie”. Nobody is forcing you to eat the whole thing in one day. That is your own choice.“

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House.
