“The best place in the city, whenever you visited Peekskill you cannot miss a visit to this place, excellent food and above all the treatment of its staff towards customers, always attentive and with the best attitude to serve their diners, really a great experience tasting the gastronomy of this place, HIGHLY “
“I came here in a trivia Thursday night and I must say that I really don’t like trivia. Anyhow, the two gentlemen serving at the table tonight plus the Skillbilly IPA x3, the coke x2, the calamari, the ceaser salad and the margarita pizza, those have hit the spot for me and my daughter. Thank you for having us guys, much appreciated!“
“I rate the food a 7, the price is a bit expensive for the amount of food. But the flavor was definitely good, it is also really close to the train and on a nice day you can eat outside. It's like $6 for one taco and they also don't offer free table chips/salsa. I didn't have the alcoholic drinks, but the lemonade was good and sour. They also have portobello mushroom as a vegetarian protein for the burritos, tacos, and taco bowls.“
“We love a dog friendly place! The service was awesome, the beer was great and the food was culturally spectacular. We had an amazing time here having a few drinks and playing card games. Will gladly come back, especially in the summer for the lawn.“
“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“
“I went there 4 times already and I must say that for a recent new comer to the US, this place is a hidden gem. Great craft beer selection and Evan (the owner) is a pretty awesome dude. I am a punk rock sound mixer and filmmaker from Lisbon, Portugal that has been touring the world since 1996 and I really thought that now living in corky expensive Westchester that it would be rare to feel and get in touch with “real scrappy people”, I guess I was wrong so thank you Growlers for having me, much appreciated. Last Tuesday was night jam sessions hosted by Paul Francis which is indeed an awesome fellow. Great jam ladies and gentlemen.P.s. my only two cents recco goes to the happy hour ? it could definitely be a bit more attractive so i could spend all my afternoons at The Green Growler hehe“
“This was our first time at Dolly's. Choice was based on convenience to a near by art opening.Boy we were surprised...The front of the house, and wait staff were the epitome of hospitality. The menu, while appearing simple is actually very sophisticated. Dolly's chefs (and kitchen line) are not only creative; they deliver outstanding dishes, perfectly prepared. We can not wait to return for the rack of lamb and more superb prosecco!Parking: Located within walking distance to the Garrison Center for The Arts. Even on a cold winter with a spectacular sunset, the parking was as great as the meal *truth be told timing may have been part of it, we arrived early for a 6:00pm seating“
“I wish I lived near this place! I'd be here all the time. Stopped in randomly while driving to upstate NY because I really wanted a smoothie. The staff were extremely kind and the place was well organized and neat. I got the mango passion and it was sour, just how I wanted it! The passion fruit flavor really comes through.“
“A tiny little oasis tucked away on Camptown Road in Ossining. Very charming, decor, immaculate, great, brunch, ( we both had the huevos rancheros, which was outstanding). The reason for the four stars is that service here is exceptionally slow. In fact there's a full chalkboard up in the front asking people not to get nasty to be nice to the servers, etc. I can see why. The kitchen is very tiny. This place is always packed. The menu is far too long for a place with such a small kitchen. They should go with their best Sellers eliminate all the thousands of ingredients they need to make all these different items that they feature and just get out there. Wonderful fabulous food. My sister and I came at 10:15 a.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was full, but we were seated fairly quickly. Once we ordered at 10:27 coffee and a biscotti were brought right away. They were giving out the biscotti as a little teaser. It was delicious. at 10:57. We asked one of the weight staff to please check on our order. She said to us you ordered at 10:27 so it will be a while.. The kitchen is very busy. Someone needs to train the white staff to at least say I'm going to check on it now. I'm sorry your order is taking longer. The kitchen is very backed up right now. She could“
“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again. My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“
