“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“Quaint, friendly, family-owned café with delicious offerings all around.I've been going once a week the past month, and I've tried almost everything this place offers. The food is incredible (I'm most partial to the croissants). From the coffee to the breakfast offerings to the truffles, I haven't had something I didn't think was excellent. And they make it all in-house!The staff is great. I've been in during busy times and slower times, and they're always working hard and friendly. (And the cute barista behind the counter is always nice to see.)I've worked in service in the past and so it's impressive to see them in action when the lines start forming. Really love going there. “PCC had our 50th Anniversary Celebration at The Thorn- we had the best time! Tonin and all employees were wonderful, kind, easy to work with and responded quickly and clearly to all questions pertaining to our large event. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and beautiful! We had the garage door open and it was so nice. Definitely recommend The Thorn for a party or corporate event! “Delicious and healthy waffles! All sorts of toppings and add-ins are available for these sourdough type waffles, and they do not disappoint! The soup of the day today was beet soup. Delish! One of us had a waffle with chocolate as well, and one of us had frozen yogurt with toasted coconut. All so yummy! Great space, light and simple, great, friendly service! “A tiny little oasis tucked away on Camptown Road in Ossining. Very charming, decor, immaculate, great, brunch, ( we both had the huevos rancheros, which was outstanding). The reason for the four stars is that service here is exceptionally slow. In fact there's a full chalkboard up in the front asking people not to get nasty to be nice to the servers, etc. I can see why. The kitchen is very tiny. This place is always packed. The menu is far too long for a place with such a small kitchen. They should go with their best Sellers eliminate all the thousands of ingredients they need to make all these different items that they feature and just get out there. Wonderful fabulous food. My sister and I came at 10:15 a.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was full, but we were seated fairly quickly. Once we ordered at 10:27 coffee and a biscotti were brought right away. “Definitely a spot for the locals. Small restaurant with bar, lovely people. The staff were sweet, speedy service. The food was delicious, prices are reasonable. The wings are a favorite. The fries were crispy and fresh. Caesar salad was basic but still good. I will be going back.“

“Had one of our few yearly trips to Penny Lick today to treat our peanut allergic son. Ice cream was delicious as always. We got to sample a few flavors before deciding. The gentleman working the counter was amazing as always. He is such a delight and always chats with us. Knows all about the flavors available and helps with deciding what to get. We got to sit and enjoy chatting with him while eating our ice creams, and our son even get seconds after deciding he'd like to try a milkshake- something he doesn't get to do often due to his severe peanut allergy. We are so thankful for peanut free stores such as this, where our son can be comfortable and have a moment of normalcy. If we didn't like 1.5 hrs away, we would visit at least weekly. We normally bring a cooler with ice and ice packs to take pints home, but today we did not have that with us. Love their take home pints!! Will be back soon!! “Food was terrible. I didn’t enjoy the cheesesteak at all. So bad I almost ordered a second one as soon as I was done so no one else would have to suffer. If you can’t tell I’m kidding please order off the children’s menu. Pete’s has always had great food and still does. But don’t get the cheesesteak, those are for me.“

“Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. A healthy option for good. I came here twice already and did the hamburger the first time and it was so good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile to help seat and serve you. The food came on time and hot. The second time I went then I had the chicken sliders and man oh man so flavorful. This is a place I would recommend and also take my family to for any function.“
