“Nice mom and pop Dominican food spot in pleasantville.
We stopped in for lunch and we're glad we did.
The woman working the counter was very friendly and welcoming. The buffet had a little of everything and is sold by the pound. There is also a nice menu that you can order from.
We got some food from the buffet, chicken, pepper steak and white rice and a wedge with house spicy chicken, bacon, avocado and chipotle mayo.
The sandwich came out from the kitchen and it was huge and delicious.
They have a large selection of beverages and chips etc and most importantly, everything is very clean !!
There are a few tables to eat in or you can take out.

“I’ve eaten multiple times at Our Kitchen and have always had a great experience - the food, staff, service and atmosphere have always been wonderful. However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!“

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“By far the best pizza in Nyack and really my favorite pizza place possibly ever! Consistently 10/10 Pies and wings. I have yet to order anything that hasn’t been great. “I have been coming to this location since it opened. It’s always lovely and had its good times and ok times. BUT in the last 6 months they have been killing it with customer service! “I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! “JADEN, our server, was very courteous, attentive and friendly. Today I enjoyed fried okra with a spicy chili sauce on the side. In addition I was treated to two large salmon cakes accompanied by grits with Gouda cheese.
My nephew described JADEN as a server who provided excellent service. The food he ordered was also excellent; whiting with grits, as well as, a side of six cheese Mac & cheese.
The take home orders for Mommy was collard greens, potato salad and yams.
I Have been to MY FATHER’S HOUSE many times for various celebrations and even for a night out with friends.

“Service is friendly and attentive. Food is good, but expect to pay premium. Look ahead at the menu so you know what to expect. Parking lot accessible via William Street. Far walk for anyone with any impairment. There is a cut-through walkway from the lot to the restaurant but you still have to walk all the way to the front to gain access. Outdoor seating is lovely. Music is played at at level where it's easy to hold conversation and you don't have to talk above it. Always a good idea to phone ahead for a reservation.

Overall I liked this restaurant and the ambiance, and I've been to similar restaurants, but felt this was a bit expensive for my taste. Personal Pizza was $19 and honestly nothing special in my opinion. The Chicken cutlet was delicious but didn't come with anything, no sauce/side, so that's all it was (just to give you some points of reference).“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

We loved it immediately.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots. My sister had the baked potato soup while my brother-in-law had the fried chicken sliders with Buffalo sauce. The beer was cold, our server Kim was intentive and friendly and the experience was a great start for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends!“

“Called in advance to see if they had nut free options for a friend who has a free nut allergy , but I wanted to take him for ice cream. The gentleman working was so helpful and let us know that they have separate nut free cases of ice cream and a totally separate case with the “nut friendly” ice creams. The scoopers don’t cross contaminate so it was super safe for our friend. Gentleman was super friendly when we arrived and ice cream was delicious. Tons of choices and variety!“
