We loved the food. The fried chicken is a must as well as the pork chop. Service was perfect and they had a musician playing the sax. We had a lovely evening.

My Father's House Southern Cuisine in Nyack, NY is a delightful restaurant celebrated for its incredible food and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is homey, comfortable, and inviting, enhanced by lively gospel music and live guitar performances on Sundays. The portions are generous, often leaving families with boxes for leftovers. The fried chicken dinner and BBQ dinners, along with sides like potato salad and collard greens, have received high praise for being beautifully seasoned and flavorful. The restaurant also serves warm biscuits and muffins drizzled in honey and syrup, which are simply delicious. The service is great, with the team demonstrating natural kindness. Each meal exceeds expectations in the immaculate and modern space. The chicken and waffles are highly regarded, and the grits are often described as second to none. Diners have also recommended the shrimp and grits, as well as the waffles with fried fish or chicken, both seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese is well made and cheesy.
