“Pastel's has been a part of Peekskill for as long as some of its landmarks. It's a great little Diner that brings together friends and family for good food and conversation. It's small and quaint. It has a vibe that makes you want to come back over and over. Just makes you feel at home.“

“Might be the best Indian food I've ever had! Hands down can't be beat anywhere around. Many unique dishes I've never seen before and everything is so fresh and authentic! Went for the Sunday lunch buffet and it is a very simple quiet place but the food makes up for any need of ambiance! Hence no photos because the food didn't last a minute on the plate. There was only one man working who I also believe is the owner, and he was extremely kind and friendly and made it a point to ask how the food was and even shared a carrot recipe! Highly recommend!!“

“Arriving in Peekskill on Easter Sunday from out of state, we found several restaurants closed for the evening. Amici's was open and welcoming. We were thrilled to find that beyond their thriving pizza counter, Amici's has an elegant dining room with delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. A hidden gem.Vegetarian options: Didn't see anything vegan; the meat-free eggplant parmesan was tasty, with eggplant, cheese, and sauce on my choice of pasta (I chose fettuccine). Came with a nice salad.Wheelchair accessibility: From the car in the parking lot to being seated at the table, a rolling walker had no difficulty, and was nicely tucked aside as we ate. Smooth ramps and wide enough walkways.“

“This is a family run restaurant which serves made to order Latin American food. This means that you have to sit and wait for them to cook it because they are cooking it to order for you. It is really worth the wait. I have now eaten here several times, and I have never had a bad meal.“

“Great food I'm a fan of it! the ramen won me over, my taste buds danced in a mouth warming broth as I happily slurped the noodles up. I haven't been won over easily by a restaurant but i think I'm in love, I'm making my way down the menu and have yet to find any of it boring. If you're looking for something new to try out why not give it a shot, the food is tasty the art work is fantastic and the hard working staff is amicable and warm. I found Ramenesque on a whim when I was in a low place and it was just the comfort food I needed, it was a liquid hug that filled me up and gave me the pick me up I needed“

“Great dive bar that I stopped at spontaneously after walking around Peekskill. Ordered the French Onion soup and a cheeseburger with fries. Food was great (although I prefer swiss cheese on my F.O.S. and not provolone) and the bartender was very nice, too. It was fun chatting with her. The place was empty (for lunch anyway) but I didn't mind as I don't like crowds. It was me and another guy at the bar. He was annoying but she handled him well. I'm guessing this is more of a nighttime hangout, but I definitely liked the vibe here.“

“Very good chicken pad Thai. Normal spice level next time, I'll ask for spicy or extra spicy. But very tasty. Good amount of chicken and noodles. Not overly greasy and the noodles didn't stick together , very easy to pull apart. I will return for sure. a bit pricey I will say .. $19.58 for chicken pad Thai... That's sort of the case with most Thai places these days. Hard to find a good pad tho in peekskill area.. good spot for sure!“

“Great night on the early side at the Birdsall. Made a reservation at the last minute and glad we did as it started to fill up pretty early. Calamari salad - delish. Split a good burger - amazing fries! Nice wine by the glass and great service - So nice to have such a great spot in Peekskill! Looking forward to nice weather to sit in their great outdoor space - a rarity in the area.“

“We were a party of four. Although our friends we were with have been here before it was our first time. (Our daughter has been here before & also recommended it). From the service, the appetizers, the wine, the entrees & the desserts, everything was fabulous! My hubby & I both Ordered the Chicken Taormina with potato croquettes, so delish! Coming back for it for sure. My friend loved the Sole Francese, said it was cooked perfectly & so tender. The stuffed artichoke app was really good too. For dessert , besides the complimentary homemade zeppolis, which were the best we ever had, (drizzled with chocolate & powdered sugar), the tartufo was so yummy! The owner Anthony comes around to greet you & check on you often. Plus the hostess Grace was very welcoming & made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Yet another amazing time with great food and excellent service this Sunday for brunch. We went with our friends who have never been and they enjoyed the food and bottomless mimosas. Our server Bryant was phenomenal! See the IV crew very soon.“
