“First time ordering take out from here since it’s been under new management. We ordered the Brooklyn pizza (thin square pie) and a large pie (half regular/ half pepperoni). The round pie was very good. Sauce had a nice tang, was thing and had a nice crunch. The show stopper was the Brooklyn Pie. My goodness, was it absolutely delicious. The sauce was more robust, had a bite to it and the pie was thin and crunchy. Absolutely amazing. My wife and I nearly ate the entire pie between the two of us. We will definitely be going back!“
“We had brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday at Apropos Restaurant at The Abbey Inn and had a fabulous time. Our server Grisel was AMAZING! The food was exquisitely delicious. Drinks were phenomenal. We had such a wonderful time! The grounds is very picturesque! We will be back for a weekend stay with friends to enjoy the spa and get the full experience. “Great place to eat if you've got some time! Food takes a while to come out (45 minutes, even with two tables of customers), but is delicious. Partner had the Mahi Mahi, and I had the jerk ribs. Coconut shrimp starter (3 pieces) and cocktail were both great. Jerk lamb had a little heat, you could definitely ask for more. If food came put a little quicker this place would certainly be 5 stars.“

“They're legit good. I'm old school Bronx n I keep it simple- cheese. Their Baskin Robbins 31 flavors all looked good but a plain slice tells you the truth about a place n truth is it's good. Balance of cheese to sauce is right, that light crunch when you bite into it, light char on the bottom. Sauce is maybe a lil garlicky but that's fine by me. So all in all, a solid slice.“
“UPDATE AT THE END;I ordered online ahead of time to have my order ready on time, when I arrived in the store, the worker at the counter was choosing his priorities of personal life over the customers.He left me waiting there while my food was getting soggy more and more by the minute..He was busy catching up with some friends..When I spoke up and asked if my order is ready, the friend backed off to let me through to the counter, but this lovely worker took the opportunity to now call another friend over Video call to show him who just came in to the store.......To the business owner, if you want to have a good name, please make sure to talk to the worker that worked at the counter on March 30th at 11:45 - 11:55 pm.----UPDATE.A few minutes after posting the review, I got a reply from the owner that he will look into this.The next morning I got a call from him that he looked at the CCTV footage and wants to hear more details from me.I gave him the full story and he said that he will talk to the worker.I got a call from him not too long after the initial call, and he clarified what the story was and that the company is taking full responsibility on this.Now, after this I can proudly say, the customers service is 10 out of 5, awesome and amazing to deal with responsible people, a mistake is a mistake.“
“It’s been very hard to find good cheese anywhere. The Fiore di Sardegna is fresh and abundant here! The frozen dinners tasted fresh after heating, olives and mozzarella were amazing, olive oil was full flavored, and the homemade pasta is outrageous! Love this place! “The pepperoni rolls here are somehow the most amazing food on Earth. They had went downhill for a bit - which was still superior to most - but somehow have made a comeback to perfection. Only downside is that I do not live in Croton anymore, and the 50 we bought to take home are now having to be shared with the kids because they too have realized how great they are! Plus the pizza is superb. I very much appreciate being welcomed like old friends whenever we dine here, as well as the professional and friendly staff, delicious food, and my personal favorite, the chocolate martini! Freshly baked bread for the table, exquisite salads and appetizers followed by an array of entrees such as chicken fratelli (my favorite) or several seafood and pasta dishes. While there is usually a crowd, the acoustics are such that you can have a pleasant conversation at your table. There is a lovely seating area with floor to ceiling windows which feels like you are almost eating outdoors, as well as outdoor seating in season.“
“Love Maria's Pizza when we moved up here to Yorktown a few years ago Maria was the first pizza shop we ordered from and they never disappoint. The service and delivery is great and everybody's always very nice when they answer and take our orders. Definitely recommend Maria's pizza and we're definitely going to try there. The drunken chicken is my favorite chicken Parm pizzas excellent. Tried the new cannoli chips and dip loved we're gonna soon try Maria's famous 3 foot pizza cause we'll be having a gathering so we're gonna try that when ordering it arrives early and hot so if you're in the Yorktown area, try Maria's Pizza. “Romano's started as our favorite and go-to pizza place in the area. We've recently used them for catering, and they blew away our expectations, the food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved the food as well. So we will be going back for more than just pizza. They always, always deliver on time, both when delivering our pizza and the catering orders.When we call, they know who we are, when we walk in, they know who we are. We are always greeted so nicely and the owners are always accommodating. We have toddlers and they are just so nice to us and them and so patient. “The new owners are basically doing their best to try to create a little music venue on the weekends. Jungle Love was on tonight and the place was hopping. We've eaten here a couple of times in the food's been good. I was a little disappointed in the chicken scarp as the potatoes were cold in the middle was kind of strange. “We went with another couple this time so there were more items ordered. I had the Mimosa Salad again and also repeated my entree having the Parledelle Bosca with Mushrooms. Hubby had a special, which included Filet Mignon, Lobster Tails and Prawns. Our friends had a Snapper special and Crab cakes. Everyone loved the food. The only thing we noticed is that those who had the Calamari and the salads felt like they tasted a little too much salt. We believe the salads may have been that way due to the strong cheeses in them.The service was very good as usual. Jason seems to be the head waiter. He loves what he does and knows so much about the food and the drinks. He is very accommodating and wants everyone to be happy. He has an over the top personality which can be fun, but for some may be a little too much. All worth the visit. We will go again. ?Vegetarian options: They have a dish called Parledelle Bosca with Mushrooms that is delicious and I've had it each time I've been there. “Fabulous! That's all I can say. We were looking for a spot to grab a quick bite before heading to the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze and happened to pass this deli. My son lives in PA now and LOVES delis, so we went in and were totally wowed by all the options and the friendly people! I don't know how I've not been to this gem before, but I have it on my list of MUST HAVES now!Our sandwiches were amazing, and I don't say that lightly! They also have a lot of baked goods, so I had to try a few of their cookies, and they were delish! Seriously going back for more soon!“

The place looks basically the same as I remember, very neat, clean and of course with a stellar menu. I observed Carmine (at the bar) preparing some amazing looking cocktails! Great service, well priced, friendly staff and great dishes! One thing I want to point out is how the first forkful of my cold antipasto salad appetizer immediately tasted soooo different. I wasn't expecting fresh, 'sharp' provolone -- no sliced ham here kids. Tonight was an unexpected treat! I will again grab my passport and cross the border into Westchester to spend more time here!
