“Found this place after some googling and the reviews seemed promising so we decided to give it a try. All of the food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the service was great. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful.. bartender, waiters, bus boys and possibly an owner/manager were extremely nice. My toddler ended up spilling his water on the floor and even though it was embarrassing for us no one made us feel as if it were a problem or inconvenience. The ambiance was wonderful as it seemed like a place where they have a lot of regulars, so it felt homelike in the best way. We will definitely be back.. (with a spill proof sippy cup!)“

I've always been able to park my lift equipped van on the side of the building and get out of it without a problem. The entrance has a vestibule and getting through 2 sets of doors using a wheelchair is challenging. Once inside, there is ample space and bathrooms are accessible.“

Not only is the food amazing but they are great members of our community. Both of my daughters have had "Pizza making" field trips and loved learning how pizza is made. “Delicious and Intimate. A gem hidden in a cozy building near the bandstand in Cornwall on Hudson. Municipal parking is ample and the food and service are perfection. I had the branzino on risotto, and tasted my companion's grilled salmon with the best capers. I also had a bite of the chicken Marsala made with sweet Marsala wine. All of the food was amazing. And although the restaurant was at capacity, we never felt rushed. Wonderful special occasion night out. The outside dining in the summer is also a treat.“

“It was our first time at La Vera Cucina, and it won't be our last. The restaurant is so quaint and beautifully decorated and upscale. In fact, we felt we were under dressed. And even though it was Christmas Eve, and we didn't have a reservation, they accommodated my husband and I. The waitstaff and service were amazing. At every turn, they'd ask if everything was fine or if we needed anything. I had the chicken parm. The serving was generous. Of course, I needed a carry out container. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed flatware. The restaurant didn't have plastic utensils. The person who I assumed was the owner, asked the waitstaff to give us real flatware and said, "Bring it back the next time you visit." Talk about going the extra mile. I highly recommend La Vera Cucina restaurant.“

I must say I do not think it was stuffed w burrata as it tasted and appeared to be regular cheese filling but everything was delicious nonetheless! Olive oil w the bread was good! “Nice place which seems to have reliable Italian food. For someone just passing through it was a good place to stop. We had 4 main courses and were all fine. The Nona pasta with smashed meatballs listed on the menu just had sliced meatballs which was quite disappointing.Nice modern interior and very good service.“
“ABC is a great local place that we frequent every once in a while with friends for low-key, informal dinner. The service is always great and the food is well-portioned, made fresh and a good value for the price. The atmosphere is "dated pizza place/diner" but there is a separate dining room and plenty of tables and booths. Comfortable, clean but far from fancy. They serve beer and wine at a reasonable price too...so that's a plus! It doesn't look like much from the outside but you won't be disappointed once you go in!“

“We often go here to get our pizza fix and have had no issues until today. Their hours say they close at 11 pm but when we tried to order around 8:30 to 10 pm, they have not answered. Thinking we got the time wrong we checked several times and it still says 11 pm they close. Very disappointed.“

Meatball slider was very good, I appreciate they are cut in half meatballs then full ones since those are a lot messier to eat, plus the garlic knot it severed in very soft and not overkilled in minced garlic. Grandma slice was great, crust was perfect and not mussy, but wish there was more grated parm and basil on top. Italian combo was great, and the bread used for it was soft, pretty lightly dressed. overall good food here and i found there prices here pretty fair compared to other pizzerias in the area with the same items.“
“Pizzarama is def a gem of Monroe. They have a huge menu and all the food is quality. Way beyond what you would expect from a pizza shop, they are much more. So much in fact I had them cater my Christmas Eve party. The food was fantastic especially the lasagna. Highly recommend. .“
“J&F has delicious food. Their meatballs are homemade and legendary. It is a very laid- back, small, and unassuming place on upper Broadway in Newburgh. Almost all of their business is take out- hot and cold sandwiches ( locally made bread), pizza , soup, and pasta dishes all made on site. Started by 2 brothers (John and Frank) , it has remained in the family for over 50 years. Very friendly people and good food. It's our go-to place when we need a quick meal.“

Happy to have you part of the community my first few experiences were bad but one great experience makes a huge difference! I hope the pizza stays as good as it was tonight! I’ll be back next week lolI’ve been a customer my whole life growing up eating here and it was great but after the new ownership quality has went down severely everything I have tried taste very bland and honestly is not good I’ve tried 3 different things since the new owners and I have not liked any of it! I had 3 others who are regulars ( my roommate, cousin, and close friend ) who are also very disappointed by the changes and used to be regulars! My close friend said he actually got sick and was puking, my cousin said it was some of the worst pizza he has had, and my roommate claimed it was very disappointing due to no flavor. Hopefully if the new owners see this the locals and regulars aren’t happy and we want the pizza we all grew up enjoying back!“

Having said that, they must have had fifty tickets on their line for several hours. Many people ordered five to ten pizzas at a time for take out. If you are in a hurry, forget about it. “My family just moved up here few years ago. I walked in this pizzeria one day for lunch and was like ok, and never went there again because of that experience. Other day we ordered from there and I was pissed that I never went back after that first experience. Pizza had a nice sweet and tangy taste. Garlic knots were amazing, fried ravioli and the sauce that went with it was enough for me to go again. So I just told my wife I want Marcelino’s tonight. Sorry I didn’t give it a second chance.“

“I've lived here over 10 years and let me say, this was my first time trying their pizza and their chicken bacon ranch pizza is delicious. They can really throw a HUGE pie! I highly recommend getting there when they're not busy. It seems like they're short staffed and during peak dinner time, they get slammed with business. If you want a good pizza made by people who love what they do, show these new business owners and their staff (they have 1 cashier, 1 delivery driver, and 2 waitresses) some patience. It's totally worth it!“

It was so good I even called the next day to tell them how great they were . Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We had the wings ,which are the best wings I ever had.
