“It was our first time at La Vera Cucina, and it won't be our last. The restaurant is so quaint and beautifully decorated and upscale. In fact, we felt we were under dressed. And even though it was Christmas Eve, and we didn't have a reservation, they accommodated my husband and I. The waitstaff and service were amazing. At every turn, they'd ask if everything was fine or if we needed anything. I had the chicken parm. The serving was generous. Of course, I needed a carry out container. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed flatware. The restaurant didn't have plastic utensils. The person who I assumed was the owner, asked the waitstaff to give us real flatware and said, "Bring it back the next time you visit." Talk about going the extra mile. I highly recommend La Vera Cucina restaurant.“
“We often go here to get our pizza fix and have had no issues until today. Their hours say they close at 11 pm but when we tried to order around 8:30 to 10 pm, they have not answered. Thinking we got the time wrong we checked several times and it still says 11 pm they close. Very disappointed.“

“Pizzarama is def a gem of Monroe. They have a huge menu and all the food is quality. Way beyond what you would expect from a pizza shop, they are much more. So much in fact I had them cater my Christmas Eve party. The food was fantastic especially the lasagna. Highly recommend. .“
“Very nice atmosphere and food. Had a pumpkin martini to start, very nice. We ordered the brussel sprout salad which is a seasonal appetizer. The funny thing was they were out of sprouts. The mgmt was very apologetic and even reduced the price for the two salads. Was a great taste, was looking forward to how they fixed the sprouts. The Wheelhouse chicken was very flavorful and moist. The pumpkin soup was quite good as well...got to love pumpkin season though, which we do!! Check it out when you are in the area!!“
“UPDATE AT THE END;I ordered online ahead of time to have my order ready on time, when I arrived in the store, the worker at the counter was choosing his priorities of personal life over the customers.He left me waiting there while my food was getting soggy more and more by the minute..He was busy catching up with some friends..When I spoke up and asked if my order is ready, the friend backed off to let me through to the counter, but this lovely worker took the opportunity to now call another friend over Video call to show him who just came in to the store.......To the business owner, if you want to have a good name, please make sure to talk to the worker that worked at the counter on March 30th at 11:45 - 11:55 pm.----UPDATE.A few minutes after posting the review, I got a reply from the owner that he will look into this.The next morning I got a call from him that he looked at the CCTV footage and wants to hear more details from me.I gave him the full story and he said that he will talk to the worker.I got a call from him not too long after the initial call, and he clarified what the story was and that the company is taking full responsibility on this.Now, after this I can proudly say, the customers service is 10 out of 5, awesome and amazing to deal with responsible people, a mistake is a mistake.“

I had 3 others who are regulars ( my roommate, cousin, and close friend ) who are also very disappointed by the changes and used to be regulars! My close friend said he actually got sick and was puking, my cousin said it was some of the worst pizza he has had, and my roommate claimed it was very disappointing due to no flavor. Hopefully if the new owners see this the locals and regulars aren’t happy and we want the pizza we all grew up enjoying back!“
“Oh wow. Swinging through on a hike and had to satisfy that hiker hunger. Ordered bruschetta that came piled high and was so deliciously fresh, and a small calzone, which was huge and I'll be packing some out tomorrow!. Bread for each was super soft, but my bruschetta was still toasty! I noticed later that they added a little hole in top of the delivery tray so it didnt get soggy! Smart.This place is such a win, and from what I can tell, possibly the most reasonably priced around. Also they deliver, which is awesome cause I wasn't walkin anywhere today!“

“I've lived here over 10 years and let me say, this was my first time trying their pizza and their chicken bacon ranch pizza is delicious. They can really throw a HUGE pie! I highly recommend getting there when they're not busy. It seems like they're short staffed and during peak dinner time, they get slammed with business. If you want a good pizza made by people who love what they do, show these new business owners and their staff (they have 1 cashier, 1 delivery driver, and 2 waitresses) some patience. It's totally worth it!“

The salmon was cooked to perfection with the taste of the chickpeas was amazing. Then I order the “The italian Combo” sandwich it was a just a regular Italian sandwich but the waiter helped me find a hack to make the sandwich 5X better. Overall taste for the sandwich was a 3 out of 5. The taste for the salmon was 5 out of 5.****** Sandwich Hack ******Order the “The Italian Combo” sandwich with a side of marinara sauce and for a light spicy taste order the spicy mayo. “I usually try different pizzas toppings, so I always eat the same thing. Haven't been disappointed yet. The place is a little dated, but so are most pizza places. If you are going there to eat pizza and not the walls, I would recommend this place to you.“
