“The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. Friendly people, amazing food, great drinks, and unbeatable views… it’s like finding a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

While we were waiting the gentleman was so kind and got my kids something to eat at no extra charge and even got us some water. When we got our food it was exceptional! Best Chicken Tikka Masala. Also, my friend who was visiting from England said they would be getting some more before they went home.”

Portion sizes are large and, if I may sound very Gen Z, the food slaps. Hearty Guatemalan food at prices that are pretty hard to find these days. Absolutely worth a visit. I could see many of their dishes being good breakfast/hangover food too.”

“This place serves consistently good food and it’s one of the few places that we visit when we crave good brunch and soups. It’s a family run place by a very friendly couple. It’s a bakery/ panaderia from outside but they serve savory breakfast items and lunch menu and dinners. The many versions of steak and eggs are yummy. The chicken and beef soup are very flavorful. Came with our son recently and he ordered the Birria tacos, they were so yummy as we expected but the sauces that came with it, we have never had such yummy sauces before! Everything is made fresh, even the baked goods! We also come sometimes with our dog, and there are ample seatings outside so we can sit outside with her as well! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed”

“Worth It! Go to this cute place for breakfast/lunch. Are breakfast sandwich, bacon egg cheese on a bagel and so enjoyed the bacon! Coffee delicious and tasted chocolate cookie and chewy and perfect! It’s not easy to see the place but look across from entrance to spins in old warehouse!! A must for locals to frequent. All baked goods homemade.”

“Been looking for a frozen yogurt place and this fit the bill. It’s a big clean looking place, plenty of seating. Lots of flavors to choose from. So far I’ve tried the strawberry cheesecake ( so-so) and raspberry pomegranate. Both quite tasty. The selection of toppings is outstanding, although some items like the peanut butter cups and brownies were stale. Fruit was fresh.
Defiantly a place to go back to and try other flavors.”

“Succulent oxtails - unfortunately couldn't taste any habanero and they were super mild but the overall flavor & texture made up for the lack of spiciness. Rice & peas + the stewed cabbage were also cooked well and tasty. Large portion will easily feed two people for a reasonable price. The older gentleman was lovely and provided great customer service. Really want to try the jerk pork next time!”

“I have been coming to this store/deli for about 5 years or so. Not really sure but for a long time. Their service is great, nice people. A couple times they messed up my sandwhich and didn’t put tomato but out of all the other times from ordering, I must say they make the best sandwiches made in the City of Peekskill! “Brought my sons and his band here for dinner before a show. It was great and surprisingly affordable! Food was super fresh and obviously prepared with a lot of care. A bit of a language barrier bit we and they were super patient and we ended up having a great meal!!!”

“I was on and out of town visit when I dropped by the store. The sandwich I usually get consists of vegetables only: spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, olives and banana peppers. Many stores act as if the spinach is just a topping rather than the base of the sandwich. This shop made the sandwich nicely. I had no complaints. They staff was also very patient while I signed into the subway app as I had forgotten my password and it took more time than usual. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.”

My Dad was Exalted Ruler at the old White Plains Lodge as well as a Trustee and I am a Life Memeber. When I was in the VA hospital, we always looked forward to the parties they put on. “always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.”

My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. “I LOVE La Cascada! It's a country club atmosphere (and we are members of Tapatio Springs CC) but the dining is open to the public. The views out to the golf course are beautiful, the atmosphere is modern and elegant, food EXCELLENT, and service also EXCELLENT. I had the pork chop...moist and delicious, also the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Yum! I honestly think La Cascada is great, but ALSO the country club is the BEST VALUE in the hill country!! Hotel rooms and beautiful swimming pools, golf course, wedding venue. It's magical! Tell Becca in Membership that Cathy Newton encouraged to "come visit and consider joining!"”
