“I always have a very pleasant experience at Salsa Fresca Peekskill NY. The staff are always very accommodating, kind and professional. They go above and beyond to make my experience perfect. The place is always so calm and peaceful and a pleasure to be in.“
“I rate the food a 7, the price is a bit expensive for the amount of food. But the flavor was definitely good, it is also really close to the train and on a nice day you can eat outside. It's like $6 for one taco and they also don't offer free table chips/salsa. I didn't have the alcoholic drinks, but the lemonade was good and sour. They also have portobello mushroom as a vegetarian protein for the burritos, tacos, and taco bowls.“
“Party of 9 for Sunday brunch celebrating 2 birthdays! The owners are lovely and the staff is attentive, friendly and provided great service. From making the reservation to departing after we dined...excellent experience.Dietary restrictions: They offer many gluten free options.“
“Was in town for a some military appointments, saw it was walking distance so I stoped in, asked what they recommended so I got the Pulled pork and Mac and it was incredible. The amount of food I got for the price I paid was well worth it, best spot in West Point I’ve had!!“

“WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. Everyone at the party raved about the food, and Octavio surprised us at the end by serving his home made caramel stuffed churro's with chocolate sauce. If you love great food, you must give him a visit...“
