They are also very creative with the menu and have things like Crab Stuffed Peppers tacos & Duck w mole ! Everyone at the table agreed that the food did not dissapoint. “while picking up a grub hub order, I ordered food for myself. staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered, an Italian combo, an empanada, and a Jamaican beef patty. for the sandwich plenty of meat, cheese and lettuce. very filling and glad unlike a few places they put salami, pepperoni and ham in an Italian, glad this place makes it right with all three. also, very good they put plenty of mayo and vinegar with the sandwich and seasoned with salt and pepper. Empanada was crispy, very filling very spicy and well-seasoned. Jamaican beef patty was crispy and flaky, filling was spicy and yummy. honestly the best i had with all three and super cheap for good eats. usually, hard roll sandwich is over $8 most places and cheap with filling, here only $5 bucks and stuffed. both the empanada and patty were cheap as well and very fair overall. A hidden gem for good food at a very reasonable prices with a warm and friendly staff.“

“Was in town for a some military appointments, saw it was walking distance so I stoped in, asked what they recommended so I got the Pulled pork and Mac and it was incredible. The amount of food I got for the price I paid was well worth it, best spot in West Point I’ve had!!“
“I've been wanting to try Casa Ortega for quite some time. Well, I have to say I was not disappointed. I had Chicharron DeCalmari as an appetizer, I couldn't stop eating those tender, delicious calamari. For dinner I had Camarones(shrimp tacos with pineapple) WOW! Paired with a delicious margarita and I'm hooked! The service was great, Irving was terrific! The restaurant is bright and clean, family friendly atmosphere Highly recommend!!“

The elote was also a hit The guac with crab meats was good too! The drinks were average, nothing to brag about, none the less, good enough. The strawberry ice cream sandwich was ?.The view of the Hudson is beautiful with passing of boats.One thing that I have to comment on, that was disappointing, was the cleanliness of the restroom.Having traveled a distance, you have no choice but to use them.
