“Lous corner have a big variarity of sandwiches and some hot food and all was clean and delicious. Employees are so nice and they have a very large variety of food (hot and cold) and salads.Management changed no long time a go, but no body noticed because all employees still working there and the food still having the same quality and flavor.All types of sodas, beer, coffee and many more to drink.In a few words, you can find there all you need for a breakfast, lunch or for your reunion at home with friends to watch any sport on the weekends.”

“I’ve eaten multiple times at Our Kitchen and have always had a great experience - the food, staff, service and atmosphere have always been wonderful. However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!”

“It was so nice to come back to Himalaya after so many years! My first visit was in 2013 when I had just become vegetarian, and I returned again in 2017 as a new vegan. Now, as a 9-year vegan, I was excited to see that they still offer so many delicious vegan-friendly options.

I started with a red sangria, then the Steamed Veg Momos, which were fresh, handmade, and packed with a flavorful mix of vegetables. The Lasooni Gobi was perfectly crispy with a delicious Himalayan sauce.

For entrees, I ordered the Veg Thali, Tadka Dal, and the Veg Korma. The Veg Thali was a wonderful way to sample several classic dishes, the Tadka Dal was comforting and full of aromatic spices, and the Veg Korma was rich, creamy, and made with a dairy-free cashew-based sauce. I also enjoyed the paratha made without butter, which paired perfectly with the curries. It’s the best I’ve had!

Himalaya is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. The food is consistently flavorful, the staff is welcoming, and they do an excellent job accommodating vegan diners.

Whether you’re vegan or simply looking to try authentic Nepali cuisine, I highly recommend stopping by. I’m so glad I came back, and it definitely won’t be another several years before my next visit!”

“Emilio, the owner was very pleasant & accomodating. Though I ordered the steak in a sauce with Rice & Beans. He wanted me to taste his wife's chicken in a cream sauce -- he provided me with a small plate which was amazing. Everything was delish -- like my own home latin cooking. The black beans came very close to my own -- which I take great pride in making. It was a throughly wonderful experience. Let me add that La Panaderia has the best Latin food in Peekskill. The juices are to die tor.”

“If you ever want to impress your friends & family with your good taste, take them here! Ever since they opened, we've continually been returning to this awesome restaurant. Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!”

“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.”

“The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. Friendly people, amazing food, great drinks, and unbeatable views… it’s like finding a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
