“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“I just had my daughter’s Baptism party at the HWC and I would HIGHLY recommend!!! Everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. Our guests are still talking about the food and the cake is definitely one of the best we have ever tried. The restaurant is beautiful but the staff and owners make you feel like family. They were so helpful throughout the process and made it such a pleasure to work with them. They really treat you like family. Thank you Chris, Monica and all the staff for making our baby girls day special. We will definelty be having a lot more future parties here.
