Great ambience inside and outside. Good quality food but prix fixe too high for what u get. Ordered fish which was very tasty but too small a portion. Appetizer of tasting dips etc could be improved in quantity and quality especially in that it was a small portion for 3 people. To improve: add variety of flatbreads, fresh warm pita or other tasty crackers and add some olives. We love the Valley Restaurant - the view is outstanding and the service is very prompt and friendly. The prix fix menu is perfect if you are seeing the Shakespeare. It couldn't be more convenient if you are going to see a show.

This is the perfect pre-Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival dining spot. The food is uniformly delicious, the portions were perfectly sized — big enough that I was full but not so big that they left me tired going in the show. I was impressed by the sommelier's wine recommendations. While the wine list wasn't large, it was incredibly well curated. Also, for the region and the quality of food and drink, I found this restaurant to be an incredible deal.
