“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

From the waiters to the bartenders to the maitre' de, Leo, and to the event planner, Katina - all were professional. The historic presence of the Kittle House and the beautiful gardens added to the success of this event. I highly recommend this venue for special occasions. “I went to this place the other day but when I got there, it was so crowded. I had to either have a 30 minute wait or sit at the bar. Obviously I sat at the bar, but the food was good. I got the chocolate chip pancakes. there was a lot I had to share with my friend. But It was a good amount for the price. I also think the atmosphere around is super cute. I love the Armonk town and I hope to come back here soon!“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“My family and I went to Truck for the second time with some of our relatives, and we loved it just as much as the first visit. The food was amazing, so filling but still so delicious! I ordered three tacos: fish, pork, and chicken. Even though I was full after the first one, they were so good that I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing all three! Therefore, I’d recommend not ordering too much at once. For dessert, we pretty much shared everything on the menu, and I loved every single one! There was even a chocolate dessert—which I usually don’t like—and I ended up loving it too. The service was excellent; our waitress was super friendly, greeted us warmly, and kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything! The atmosphere made it all even better: casual, lively, and perfect for a fun family dinner.“

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. Outstanding experience with excellent, friendly service“
