“This place was awesome for lunch! We got there shortly after opening and got a prime table on the patio against the windows. The view is spectacular. Our server, Derlin, was excellent and explained the ordering process. We got a handful of tacos and the plantains. The plantains were outstanding and so was the cilantro aioli they came with. The best tacos were the korean bbq short rib, hv pork belly (more or a spare rib), general tso's, shrimp po boy special and portobello. The chicken, chorizo and filet mignon were just ok, I'd skip those next time. Can't wait to come back when we are back in the area!“

“We chose this restaurant hastily to find a dinner spot after visiting Storm King. My friend is vegetarian and gluten free, so her restaurant options are limited. I eat basically everything. This restaurant was the perfect choice! The decor is nice, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and I tried several dishes that were all delicious! They have a large variety of dishes that can be served vegetarian and with varying spice levels, and there are a lot of gluten free options as well.“

“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“

“Our waitres Stephanie was absolutely wonderful. I usually don't take the time to post any reviews but i had to congratulate her on her job.she had the nicest and most friendliest welcome .we ordered the bbq ribs, the Rubin sandwich and a cheese burger . My wife wanted her burger just a little more done .we got Stephanie's attention and told her if they can cook it just a little more.stephanie was so undetsanding and its the attitude you have with a customer that makes the difference of a good employee. She returned with a new order immediately. She took care of us with always a smile and made our dinning experience just wonderful.Also there was another employee that helped us, just as friendly and attentive. “Had my nieces Bat mitzvah here. The food was outrageous, the service was fantastic. Only negative, they kept clearing the plates away so fast. Some people lost their plates as they were eating. My niece got her plate taken away and never even got to eat. There was so much left over food and I don't know what happened to it all. I hope it went to a good place.“

“My wife and I visited this spring before it opened. They were painting inside, but Sarah, the manager, invited us in and gave us a tour of this beautiful historic building. In the five or six times we've dined there since, Sarah greets us with a hug like old friends and fits us in no matter the hour or crowd. The food is excellent, the menu vegan/gluten and dairy-free friendly, the service top notch. There's even a ghost. Alexa served my birthday dinner for nine yesterday (which Sarah arranged despite over-abundant holiday reservations). “I happened upon this bakery during a quick trip to Beacon and had no idea it was an entirely gluten free (plus dairy free/vegan) in many other respects. I am not gluten free, but my sister has a severe gluten allergy (not celiac) so I have been very involved in recreating recipes for her and tasting and trying many things over many years.I ordered a mushroom & ricotta tart, and couldn’t resist the chocolate cupcake with strawberrry/raspberry frosting. As I ate the tart, I could not believe it was gluten free. I was dumbfounded. The pastry was flaky with so many layers and DELICIOUS. How COULD this be gluten-free?!I personally am not a fan of most cupcakes - they tend to be dry, overly sweet with godawful American buttercream, and heavy. Not only was this the best gluten free cupcake I’ve ever had, it was THE BEST CUPCAKE I’VE EATEN IN MY LIFE! And I’ve eaten a lot of cupcakes in my life. Truly. I live an hour away from Beacon, but I would make the trip just to eat at this bakery and take a hell of a lot home for later to put in my freezer. “I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables, I was told that came with white rice okay for pint-size I ordered an extra pint size but I was also told that they were filled to the top so I had to use both pints to eat half of the chicken with mixed vegetables and so I'm going to go to another Chinese restaurant locally just to get some white rice for the second half of my meal. There was at least an eighth of an inch if not more to the top of the box it was very light. Food was delicious and I plan on going back but next time I'll make sure they pack my rice before I leave. Thank you for my first experience I'll be back just make sure I get enough rice next time if you don't I will.“

“For 33 years I have traveled the land in search of a burger so tasty, so juicy, so perfectly contrived, cooked, stacked, and served. I never imagined I would find it in this hidden gem on the Hudson. This burger comes out stacked high with perfectly paired toppings standing a mere 6in in height and sprawling across the plate. Thank you, you beautiful Irish pub, for ruining every other burger for me for the rest of my life. I will dream about the shroom burger and the cafe burger until the day I die. And the Guinness is a perfect pint. 10/10.“

“This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. George and his team make it look easy though you can taste the effort and love the team puts into every meal. I highly recommend eating here. GO!“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“We decided to try out Chapala grill on a random Wednesday night. There is ample parking even though the lot is shared with other businesses. Food was prepared very well and was flavorful. We had empanadas as an appetizer. One pork, one chicken, and one beef. I would definitely get the chicken or beef but skip the pork. The mexican tacos were very well prepared. Flavorful and plated nicely. They have a full bar but we didn’t take advantage of it. The staff was very nice and our waiter could have been more accommodating or pleasant. He knew all the right times to approach the table without being overbearing.
