“My wife and I have been here many times throughout the years and each time we've visited, they've expanded and improved their location in the best of ways. We even had our wedding here and I cannot stop raving about how incredible each and every staff member has been from start to finish.

And not to mention, their cider is sincerely unparalleled!

“Absolutely amazing store! Helpful staff, superb selection, and a surprisingly fun experience for a quick stop. We were tourists passing through and ended up learning so much about local ciders and products that it felt like a mini tour. If you like cider or wine and are passing through, definitely make a pit stop! Have a great selection of hard to find whiskies as well.

We actually happened upon the store on our way to a friend’s house for wine and were so impressed that we stopped back on our way out when we had more time to explore.

On our first visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection of wines and how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. They were happy to make recommendations, and I was especially excited to find several Portuguese wines that we love.

On our second trip, we decided we needed to explore the cider selection. They have a HUGE selection, with 100+ options, several on tap, and some uncommon cider products I was excited to learn about, including Pommeau and Ice Cider.

Gennaro was an incredible resource and clearly has a genuine passion for cider. With so many options, it was great to have someone who could help narrow down the choices. He also gave us a mini education on cider, Pommeau, and Ice Cider that honestly felt worthy of a distillery tour! With so many options, I decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity to stock-up beyond the capacity of my carry-on. Gennaro even went out of his way to carefully box up my purchases so they would have the best chance of making it through the airline luggage system.

The selection, knowledgeable staff, and overall experience really can’t be beat. They also seem to have lots of events, tasting opportunities and fun excuses to stop in. We came in expecting to grab a few cans and ended up having one of the more memorable stops of our trip. Highly recommend!“

“Okay... first of all - I ordered for take-out and my husband is lucky this food even made it home. The car smelled so good, I wanted to pull over to eat it right there. Both the chowder and stuffed clams had big, tasty pieces of clam. I got the Mac & Cheese with garlic shrimp - there were no less than 20 pieces of roasted cloves which were sweet and delicious. The shrimp was completely deveined and tender. My husband thought the stuffed clams were a little salty, I thought they were perfect, so do what you want with that. I am verily looking forward to my next visit.“

“I am the pickiest man in the world, I own a health and wellness center that is open 7 days a week. Very busy but eating healthy is mandatory and to find a restaurant that has outstanding customer service, healthy outstanding food is a win win for me!

“Every once in a while, you stumble across a place that just feels like yours. Obercreek is that place for me.

I’m close enough that it’s a short drive, but far enough that it still feels like an escape. My perfect summer afternoon starts with grabbing a pizza from Stone’s down the road, then wandering over here for a couple of beers while the day slows down.

The beer program is exactly what I want from a neighborhood brewery. They nail the flagship beers, sprinkle in enough thoughtfully crafted seasonal releases to keep things interesting, and never try to overwhelm you with a tap list full of gimmicks. It’s clear they care more about brewing great beer than chasing trends.

If you’ve got kids, bring them. The co-op gardens are fun to wander through, there are usually a few well-loved toys scattered around, and they’ll inevitably end up exploring, getting a little dirty, and having the kind of unstructured afternoon that’s getting harder to find.

Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, because spots like this don’t come around often. But places this good deserve to be supported.

“Such an amazing afternoon at Minards with friends! We came with our 7 (combined) kids - who are 3-14 years old- And seriously, every single one of the kids had a blast, as did the parents! It’s a great set up for your kids to play while the grownups hang out nearby hand can enjoy a beverage or two. Angie and Jason were WONDERFUL hosts - which is kind of wild because my assumption is that the owners would generally oversee from some sort of ivory tower, but nope! They are right there “in it” with all the customers visiting for the day. I won’t lie- I love it and they are awesome people. My 7 year old is currently directing me to give them a 10 star review and is NOT happy that 5 is the max amount allowed. The parking lot was full of lots of jersey and Pennsylvania plates and that’s awesome- but more locals need to come spend a day here because it was an awesome experience for all! Also worth noting- I know places like this can be incredibly overwhelming for kids who may be neurodiverse and not thrilled with sensory overload. If you do come and try a day hanging out here- look for Angie (Incredibly friendly, very pretty blonde - can’t miss her!) and introduce her to your little one. Her whole background is in taking care of kiddos just like yours and she’s like a sorcerer with making them feel comfortable and not overwhelmed!
