“Decided to go for dinner, simply because we never have a bad experience here, we were going for burgers, but both got ribeyes, and wings as an appetizer, wings were cooked to perfection, the ribeye was amazing, came with perfect mashed, and broccoli,carrots and green beans, that were so delicious, and to be able to outside and look at gunks while the leaves are changing, priceless, so happy to have such an amazing restraunt in my neighborhood,“

“Cafe Vignetto is a family owned and run Italian restaurant where everything is made from scratch that will never fail to provide you with an outstanding dining experience. We came across it in listings on Google and Open Table, both of which listed it as "Exceptional" and they weren't kidding. We were greeted by a gracious and charming gentleman who happened to be the first cousin of the owner, who sai that he has been here over the past 10 years from Italy, and he made our entire evening memorable. This restaurant appears to have a core of regular customers, and if I lived in the area, I would be there often as well. It is located in a comfotable homey setting with dark wood and subtle lighting. The Menu is enormous, and features a first page of highlighted dishes, and between that and the remainder of the Menu, I would have been happy with many of the selections. Everything was prepared fresh to order, from scratch, and to perfection, with very generous portions. Each sauce was distinctly different and flavorful, and not reliant on a single house sauce as any other establishments would use. The service was friendly, courteous, attentive, and we were treated like family. At the end of dinner, we were presented with a dessert menu hightlighted with photographs of delights that all appear to be home made, like everything else there, so if you can, try to save some room. “Okay... first of all - I ordered for take-out and my husband is lucky this food even made it home. The car smelled so good, I wanted to pull over to eat it right there. Both the chowder and stuffed clams had big, tasty pieces of clam. I got the Mac & Cheese with garlic shrimp - there were no less than 20 pieces of roasted cloves which were sweet and delicious. The shrimp was completely deveined and tender. My husband thought the stuffed clams were a little salty, I thought they were perfect, so do what you want with that. I am verily looking forward to my next visit.“

“Every once in a while, you stumble across a place that just feels like yours. Obercreek is that place for me.

I’m close enough that it’s a short drive, but far enough that it still feels like an escape. My perfect summer afternoon starts with grabbing a pizza from Stone’s down the road, then wandering over here for a couple of beers while the day slows down.

The beer program is exactly what I want from a neighborhood brewery. They nail the flagship beers, sprinkle in enough thoughtfully crafted seasonal releases to keep things interesting, and never try to overwhelm you with a tap list full of gimmicks. It’s clear they care more about brewing great beer than chasing trends.

If you’ve got kids, bring them. The co-op gardens are fun to wander through, there are usually a few well-loved toys scattered around, and they’ll inevitably end up exploring, getting a little dirty, and having the kind of unstructured afternoon that’s getting harder to find.

Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, because spots like this don’t come around often. But places this good deserve to be supported.

“We have gone to Nanas before for ice cream, always had a great experience with the staff and food. We even use them as a go to for kids gifts- they feel so cool getting their own 10$ gift certificates to spend 🫢😊We have used another ice cream truck the last few years for my daughters party in the summer, and this year they are no longer available. I saw Nanas post they had gotten an ice cream truck and it was even better than the other one! They have soft serve which was great for adults , tons of novelty ice creams for the kiddos and was much more affordable than the other company. We can’t say enough how great they were! “Excellant service, very friendly and helpful. Crab salad is much better at this location then the other location, they chop up the crab and cucumber evenly and it balances out. The Green Dragon and Lobster roll were pretty good also. One of the better places for gyoza, very good flavor and texture. If you have kids, get a Shirley Temple for them, nice presentation.“

“Went here on a nice summer Saturday with my family and had a wonderful experience. The gumbo stole the show! Creative options, classic New Orleans fare (including the fried alligator bites which we didn't get to try, maybe next time). Burger was amazing, fries (both Cajun and regular) were spot on. Buffalo cauliflower was my personal favorite. The waitress was friendly and personable. We had a few lovely conversations with her about her favorite selections. Chocolate cake = perfection. Atmosphere is casual, music is gentle and the staff were lovely. Definitely coming back. (Just be prepared for weekend New Paltz parking when you come out...)“

Asked him if it was a sensitivity or allergy, when he replied allergy they stopped production of all other burgers to make mine so it would have no contact trace. “I went on 10/22/2024 to the location on Albany Street in Poughkeepsie N.Y. Today is my mom Birthday we had a party of seven. When we arrived we were told they don't have big table for our size party. They managed to add a table. The food was a 1.5 Everyone fries were over cooked the chicken was dry not a bit of Honey was tasted on the sandwiches. Tap water warm little to barely no ice. It took over 30 minutes to receive our meals no bread sticks salad nothing offered while we waited. It was a HORRIBLE DINNER. We asked if they have any Bday specials were told No. Do you sing Happy Birthday No. Mind you we were told by the person that recommended the place said they do sing Happy Birthday. I'm starting to feel it was a racial situation. Yet we still left tips. The Family had to go find Food upon leaving. The server was great it was her second day. I wish her well“

“This place is beautiful on a perfect-weather day, which we were fortunate to experience! It wasn't too hot, and there was a wonderful mix of sunshine and shade. The apple orchard, the lake, and the delicious food made for an ideal setting. Plus, the ciders were delightful.

We ordered a mushroom pizza and a veggie burger, both of which were excellent. The service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. Kids were running and playing, and many people had their dogs with them. It felt like a picnic in the orchard. The relaxed atmosphere enhanced the taste of the food and the overall experience.“
