I treated myself on my birthday to dinner and drinks. It was after 6p on a Thursday night. It’s a small and cozy spot with a few people at the bar and a couple of us seated. I started with two unique tequila drinks. I then had the chopped salad with blue cheese crumbles, followed by the shrimp with grits. It’s my new favorite. I never would have put those two together. I want to go back and try more appetizers and another entree.
Well didn't we fall lucky? We were heading to a different place for lunch but it was closed. Lucky for us that, ( and a delicious aroma, ) led us to this "one of a kind find!" When the locals offer you a mouthful of their delicious choices, no televisions, just views from the bar like no other, fantastic service topped off with the best meal out we in a long time, you know we'll be back for sure. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with our friends and dogs on the upper deck with a lovely view of the sunset over The Shawangunk ridge. The service was great as was all of our food! Highly recommend stopping in for drinks or food!
