“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“Eclectic menu! I so loved my elderflower violette gin cocktail. I had the salmon it was delicious and the sunset was amazing from my out door table. Very romantic atmosphere. My new favorite in town.”

“100% recommend novellas! We just recently celebrated our wedding there and we had the best. Time. They made the entire wedding process so easy for us, with menu items, decor, timelines, everything. You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. My guests and family were overjoyed and welcomed happily by all of them, and I’m incredibly grateful! This place has become like family, and we’ll be back as often as we can now because of their professionalism and kind hospitality! Thank you guys!!”

It has amazing flatbread pizza with all the gourmet toppings you can think AND they have a few dinner specials that are absolutely delicious. Lastly, everything is fresh, tasty and not overly priced. If you haven’t been here you are missing out.”

“Not from this area at all but was strolling thought town trying to find a bagel store and ended up here. Saw no bagels so I settled for a sandwhich and got the AE PHI. Let me just say that first bite was marvelous. While we waited we pondered over the pickles and pickled area, and folded to buy their pickles and pickled cauliflower once we saw their first place ribbon for a pickle festival or something like that. Both were great and 10/10. The crunch on my hoagie, the pesto, WOW. As I said I’m not from this area but I would make a hike back up here just to come to franks fresh. 10/10”

“I go to Rino's for the amazing customer service - I go back to Rino's for the delicious food. While you're waitingon the0tk0p, check out the little Italian grocery section full of imported oils and vinegar and traditional ils school pasta shapes like orecchiette.”

Starbucks has nothing on Mudd except hype. You want good ☕️ and reasonably priced selection of quality products when you need a break Mudd Puddle is worth a drop in.”

“This place is incredible! We had the most amazing fudge brownie sundae here with strawbery/vanilla ice cream and Pam is the kindest lady in all of New Paltz (may we say all of New York? All of the US? The world?). The ice cream is a must-have if you are in the area and if you do, please tell Pam we love her! She made my wife’s birthday extra special and I’ll be forever grateful to her”

“Was in town on the Saturday the 19th and stopped in for a beer. Nice selection...but then had some food, and it was awesome!! And was ready in minutes! And to top it off, the woman handling the bar was amazing. Will stop in again when in town again in 2 months......5 stars...Thanks again...RICH”

“I come in pretty frequently and order the same thing everytime. While the food taste fine and feels fresh, I have literally never paid the same amount twice. Sometimes my order is $12 sometimes it’s $14ish, today it was $15. The price changes so often I never know if I’m getting a deal or getting ripped off. The portions are fine and worth the money, so I don’t mind paying whatever it comes to, I just wish I knew what it would beforehand.”

Jerk chicken wrap is also REAL good and that sauce with it is something else. If you love Caribbean and jerk food, this place will make you happy!!”

“This place is great. You choose from a number of proteins (roast pork, goat, oxtails, catfish, and stewed or baked chicken) I’ve had the stewed chicken and the roasted pork, and both were excellent. The meal comes with your choice of 3 different rices, and black or pinto beans which are also excellent. There are others sides I have not tried in my two visits, but I’m going to presume they are also good. The prices are low for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended.”

“Walked in Subway in New Paltz the first time, and I held the door open for an older gentleman walking in as well. The young man behind the counter, Carlos, greeted the gentleman by name. Took his order, and acknowledged me.....telling me he'd be with me in a minute. Outstanding customer service at this Subway shop!! And my sandwich was perfect, and I was out the door in a reasonable amount of time. I was back again the next day. I'm not in New Paltz a whole lot, but when I am, lunch will be at Subway. Can't recommend it highly enough.”

“Hit or miss on the quality taste of food. Mostly spot on but sometimes they have a day off with quality. If you order online with their app don't expect the order to be filled. App says 25 mins, showed up ar the 25 min mark and waited in line for 20 mins to find out mine and the person behind me the order wasn't even filled/made. Had to wait another 15 mins and still charged full price! The woman behind me had sane issue as well”
