“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“100% recommend novellas! We just recently celebrated our wedding there and we had the best. Time. They made the entire wedding process so easy for us, with menu items, decor, timelines, everything. You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. My guests and family were overjoyed and welcomed happily by all of them, and I’m incredibly grateful! This place has become like family, and we’ll be back as often as we can now because of their professionalism and kind hospitality! Thank you guys!!”

“I love this restaurant, it’s definitely one of my all time favorites. It has amazing flatbread pizza with all the gourmet toppings you can think AND they have a few dinner specials that are absolutely delicious. Lastly, everything is fresh, tasty and not overly priced. If you haven’t been here you are missing out.”

We had two appetizers and then entrées, and they were all great. Give this spot a try- definitely get the guac!”

“We had a delightful Cajun inspired meal that included blacked catfish, fried chicken, and a burger. The kids really liked the Mac-n-Cheese, and we also had Gumbo Fries and Alligator bites.

Staff was very helpful, patient, and adaptable to our needs.

Pricing was appropriate for the quality of the food and service.

“The owners, James and Michelle, and staff are always welcoming. Great selection of coffee and tea. They'll grind your selection of beans or take em home whole. James' paninis just great. Starbucks has nothing on Mudd except hype. You want good ☕️ and reasonably priced selection of quality products when you need a break Mudd Puddle is worth a drop in.”

“SO GOOD for such a great deal!!!! Like 2011 prices. They have 3 roll dinner specials for $18! AND they have gluten free soy sauce. My only complaint is that it’s very loud inside because they packed tables into a small room, but we don’t mind. It’s soo worth it! Love coming here when we’re in the area.”

“This place is great. You choose from a number of proteins (roast pork, goat, oxtails, catfish, and stewed or baked chicken) I’ve had the stewed chicken and the roasted pork, and both were excellent. The meal comes with your choice of 3 different rices, and black or pinto beans which are also excellent. There are others sides I have not tried in my two visits, but I’m going to presume they are also good. The prices are low for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended.”

“I've been to numerous Indian restaurants throughout the tri state area and within the state of New York. Hands down, New Paltz Indian Restaurant is on my Top 5 list. The chef here does not miss, and trust me, I've visited a handful of times on different days. Food is great, and fairly priced. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like now a days you don't come across too many dining establishments with affordable pricing and high-quality food. If you're in the Hudson Valley area or passing through, eating here is worth it.”

“Hit or miss on the quality taste of food. Mostly spot on but sometimes they have a day off with quality. If you order online with their app don't expect the order to be filled. App says 25 mins, showed up ar the 25 min mark and waited in line for 20 mins to find out mine and the person behind me the order wasn't even filled/made. Had to wait another 15 mins and still charged full price! The woman behind me had sane issue as well”
