This is our go to spot for Mexican food in New Paltz, after a good day of climb, you can't beat the mole enchiladas and a frozen Margherita. All the food is great and they have some seating outside for when the weather is nice.
Best Mexican in New Paltz. Enough said. The staff is friendly and attentive and actually speaks Spanish. It’s a little tight for a bigger group but 2-4 people there’s plenty of space. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Make sure you save room for the churros, ice cream and strawberries (trust me).

Visited Los Jalapeños twice while in the area, first back in November and now in April. We loved it so much from our first visit that we couldn’t wait to come back. Both times our food was delicious as well as the margaritas. Great service mixed with a fun and colorful atmosphere.
