“An under appreciated restaurant that has consistently good authentic Mexican fare and a warm inviting vibe. Pepe, bartender/server is especially awesome. He makes you feel welcome and remembers just how you like your margarita. The bar area has beautiful stone work and a huge variety of tequila. There are 4 large screens - sports, food network, news to keep you occupied if you're flying solo. Try it you'll like it :)“
“I stopped by Bubbakoos and was very pleasantly surprised! Although the atmosphere isn’t for me (it’s way too bright), the food was great!I actually have never ordered a burrito before in my life, so I didn’t know what I was doing- but thankfully it was relatively self explanatory and the process was simple.I got a burritodilla which is a burrito that pretty much gets panini pressed. It was HUGE, and only like $10. Although it was tasty, the amount of rice put into it kind of overwhelmed the whole thing and by the time I got to the end, it was just all rice. I’d recommend asking for light rice if ordering this item.I also got chips and queso, and there was nothing to complain about that!My only issue was that I think it was too loud and too fast for me. Again, I didn’t know what I was doing, so that doesn’t help- but when ordering it felt like there was a language barrier (which there may have been), and it made the process confusing and hard for both me and the worker. “Normally I am wary of places that serve multiple types of cuisine, especially places that serve multiple Asian food. But this place is great. The bowls are fresh and delicious and the fusion sauce is really good. The staff are friendly and I love that they cater to dietary restrictions. The sit down tables feel like more fast casual, or like a lunch spot. But it's clean and pleasant. I would absolutely return for a reliable delicious meal.“
“Nice folks and a good, basic, tasty solid selection of Mexican food. They have a separate bar room with a full bar which is nice. Atmosphere is basic but warm. I can't argue with anyone's opinions written in their negative review but the person who called the servings "sparse" must need their dinner served in a wheel-barrow.“
“Hands the best bar tender in the area with some of the best tacos as well. Our bar tender Mike is alway on top of our orders great banter and super friendly with everyone he serves. His service as well as the friendly atmosphere keeps myself and my wife coming back again and again.“
“I just wanted to say how much we love this little local place we have. However my wife and I are in agreement that our food last night didn't have much flavor like in the past. Maybe the chef was changed or they were too busy and the food got rushed out? We don't know but willl give it another try soon. Come on guys......spice it up again!You got to Frank it up! ?“
“We discovered this little gem two years ago on New Year's Day, after a round-trip walk on the Walkway Over Hudson, and have wanted to come back ever since (we live an hour's drive away). Their food was delicious, fresh and with generous portions. Their free salsas are so tasty you'd want to buy some by the pint. This New Year's Day, we did the same routine - Walkway then El Paso. The food is just as delicious, the portions just as lavish, and the owner just as cheery, helpful and generous. Very few eateries are open on NYD in this little township, but any open door is a heartwarming place! We'll be back next New Year's Day!“
“This place saved my life when I was so hungry one morning and everything else was closed. Great, great burritos!! California burrito and breakfast burritos were bomb. And if you’re feeling up to it, the distillery is right there.You can bring your dog since it’s outside. No tables, but you might be able to snag a distillery one nearby.“
“My wife and I stopped in for the first time to have dinner last night. The menu had a good variety and the prices were very reasonable. The tacos are served in 3's for $12 and the 3 empanatas for $19. Dos Equis were only $5.50 for a pint. $10 for a Margherita. We will be back there soon to further explore the menu.“
“We frequently drive an hour and half round trip to pick up dinner from here. It is the best Mexican food in the area, by far, and is always worth the trip.Their tortilla chips are so delicious that we get a double (or triple!) order to snack on the following day. Some of our favorites are the QuesoBurros and the Mulas De Col Rizada. The steak tacos are very good. There are dairy and gluten-free options, which we appreciate. We were missing our favorite taqueria in East Palo Alto, CA but Upstate Taco is every bit as good. “Came up to headless horseman and needed a bit to eat. Got slices for everyone and they where great. Super nice under carriage for a thin round pie. Cheese and sauce was top notch. Love pizza and that was a 9.3 rating. The counter people where nice and super quick. Place was packed and seemed well maintained. Will definitely recommend“
“Visited Los Jalapeños twice while in the area, first back in November and now in April. We loved it so much from our first visit that we couldn’t wait to come back. Both times our food was delicious as well as the margaritas. Great service mixed with a fun and colorful atmosphere.“
