I was starving and very happy to stumble across this Mexican lunch counter in the Valero. The guy was super friendly and made me a nice plate.

At first, I thought the prices seemed a little high when I saw $15–17 for tacos, but then I realized each order comes with five tacos nice sized, which is actually a great value. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made the traditional way.
