Visited Los Jalapeños twice while in the area, first back in November and now in April. We loved it so much from our first visit that we couldn’t wait to come back. Both times our food was delicious as well as the margaritas. Great service mixed with a fun and colorful atmosphere.

This is our go to spot for Mexican food in New Paltz, after a good day of climb, you can't beat the mole enchiladas and a frozen Margherita. All the food is great and they have some seating outside for when the weather is nice.
Best Mexican in New Paltz. Enough said. The staff is friendly and attentive and actually speaks Spanish. It’s a little tight for a bigger group but 2-4 people there’s plenty of space. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Make sure you save room for the churros, ice cream and strawberries (trust me).

Stopped in just by chance after almost walking away and that sure would've been a mistake. This is not only one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to but one if the best restaurants. The food was absolutely delicious!!! When I come back this way again I will surely be stopping here.

Excellent food, great service, and the workers were genuinely so nice and warm. You could tell by the atmosphere you were getting authentic Mexican food and it was exactly that! Super pleased, 10/10 would recommend.

The food was one of the best Mexican I had for several years! Recommend the chef’s special- fried shrimp tacos with tomatoes chicken soup, Carne Asada. Service was great with very welcoming staffs. Will visit again!Parking: There was parking lot next to the restaurant.

Excellent Mexican food! There are a few other Mexican restaurants in the general area but none compare to this place. The food and service are fantastic. Authentic Mexican food - not Americanized Mexican food. They are also very accommodating and flexible if you ask them to tweak a dish for you. Gotta try this restaurant. You, most certainly, will not be disappointed and you will leave with a smile on your face.
