Main Street Bistro Reviews
The service was pretty good, we got sat immediately and our drinks were out within 2 minutes of us ordering. After ordering food, the wait was around 5 minutes. I got the Magic Cakes special with a side of 2 sunny side up eggs. The food wasn’t too great, but it was still an okay meal. If in the area, this is one of the places I’d recommend visiting for a quick bite to eat.
We came to Main Street Bistro for breakfast on the recommendation of our Airbnb host.
The menu is creative. My boyfriend's eyes stopped two items down the menu at Protein X. I kept going and asked if he was getting Kiki's breakfast stir fry and he changed his order. He rated it 9/10.

Favorite place to eat in New Paltz. Lots of vegetarian options! Yum! What was my favorite as a college student and it's still my favorite as an adult

Main Street Bistro offers classic diner fare with a twist. They serve a variety of Benedict choices, including the popular Red and Green light, which can be made gluten-free. The lively and vibrant atmosphere makes it a great breakfast spot, especially on weekends when it gets busy. Despite the crowds, the food remains delicious and worth the wait. Standout dishes include the Salmon Benedict Hash and chicken and waffles, with good vegan and vegetarian options available. Customers appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices, noting that side portions can sometimes be small for the price. The banana pancakes are highly praised as being out of this world, and the restaurant encourages trying new things. Recent reviews highlight the excellent food and service, along with surprisingly affordable prices that keep guests coming back regularly.
