I have eaten at the Bistro countless times, but had dinner for the first time. We had delicious vegan meals. They served generous portions for a great price. I’m not vegan , but really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Same space , but different vibe with nice background music and very friendly service.
We always saw a line out of the door at this restaurant so we decided to try it out. I’m so glad we did because their breakfast menu is so satisfying and well-priced. I had the chicken and waffles which was so delicious and heavy which was perfect when we needed to refuel after hiking around the area. It’s perfect for before or after hikes. The Bistro has been a very popular breakfast and lunch place in New Paltz for many years. Recently under new ownership, some things have changed. The breakfast and lunch aspect have stayed roughly the same, but they have added a VEGAN VIETNAMESE dinner six days a week. I don’t usually do reviews of places in NewPaltz, and wasn’t planning to, so I did not get pictures, will next time.
