“We ordered takeout from Lombardi’s on our last evening in the Hudson Valley, and it was absolutely exceptional! The homemade lasagna was fantastic, and the pasta Bolognese was equally delicious. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship that go into their homemade pasta. Both dishes were rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Exactly the kind of Italian food you hope to find at a place like this. A wonderful way to end our trip, and a restaurant we’ll absolutely remember. Highly recommended!”

“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“Do not judge this place based on solely on what angry orchard releases commercially. This is where they work on their upscale and experimental ciders. As such you will find something for every palette here: sweet, dry, barrel aged, rose,… you name it, they’ve tried it.

I am especially fond of their wooden sleeper series and look forward to the release events for each of the annual verities (wassail especially).

It’s difficult to recommend food as the offerings are always changing, but you can count on getting something to eat weather from their kitchen or a visiting food truck or a local pop-up.

They often have fun events and live music. Make sure to check their website before visiting to see if there is an event going that you’d like to participate in. I’ve see new release events, cider float events, ugly sweater party’s, apple blossom festivals, Kentucky derby viewing events, themed trivia events, board game nights, and so much more.”

Sold by the dozen in gallon Ziplocs.. we've begun just buying 6-10 dozen when we are there and freezing what we don't eat after a few days. Reheated in the air fryer they are amazing. The farmers cheese, broccoli cheddar, potato cheddar, garlic, onion are all amazing...”

Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. “went there for dinner with three of my closest friends. Food service and cleanliness of this establishment was outstanding. I was greeted by chef Mark. Who made for an outstanding visit letting me know about all of the amazing things that the ridge does. Also, Nico was terrific engaging with me about how this new restaurant has come alive in Ulster County. Our server was also outstanding. I'm not sure her name young girl short dark hair. Terrific fun, friendly engaging accurate service. I had the salmon which was beyond delicious.. very unique to have the salmon grilled well done on the outside but very moist and tender on the inside. This was the recommendation of the Server, which was outstanding. This new restaurant is an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for having a staff there that was truly fun, friendly and engaging. Everyone I spoke with was truly into the vibe of the restaurant extremely clean restrooms and facility thank you so much.❤️”

“Not from this area at all but was strolling thought town trying to find a bagel store and ended up here. Saw no bagels so I settled for a sandwhich and got the AE PHI. Let me just say that first bite was marvelous. While we waited we pondered over the pickles and pickled area, and folded to buy their pickles and pickled cauliflower once we saw their first place ribbon for a pickle festival or something like that. Both were great and 10/10. The crunch on my hoagie, the pesto, WOW. As I said I’m not from this area but I would make a hike back up here just to come to franks fresh. 10/10”

“Okay... first of all - I ordered for take-out and my husband is lucky this food even made it home. The car smelled so good, I wanted to pull over to eat it right there. Both the chowder and stuffed clams had big, tasty pieces of clam. I got the Mac & Cheese with garlic shrimp - there were no less than 20 pieces of roasted cloves which were sweet and delicious. The shrimp was completely deveined and tender. My husband thought the stuffed clams were a little salty, I thought they were perfect, so do what you want with that. I am verily looking forward to my next visit.”
