“Great space for a date night, study session, playing games with any group or individual (2 player games and group games; family-friendly games; games based on difficulty), or a place to chill out. The atmosphere is laid back, friendly, and inclusive. The food is always delicious. The drink selection is impressive and every beverage I've ordered has been amazing.Dietary restrictions: vegan and GF options“
“A absolute must whenever I am in the area. Nothing else compares to this entire experience from their mastery of flavor to their respect for their local (and global) community. A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“The Bistro has been a very popular breakfast and lunch place in New Paltz for many years. Recently under new ownership, some things have changed. The breakfast and lunch aspect have stayed roughly the same, but they have added a VEGAN VIETNAMESE dinner six days a week. I don’t usually do reviews of places in NewPaltz, and wasn’t planning to, so I did not get pictures, will next time. Great food and make sure you try the bubble tea, probably the best in town!Vegetarian options: The DINNER is all vegan“
“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“
“The only place around here that makes egg sammys like this! Soooooo good. It’s hard to find an authentic New York deli in these parts. I’ve only had breakfast there but so far so delicious! Reasonably priced also.Vegetarian options: They also have vegan cream cheese“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“
“Cafe Mio is a lovely treasure in Gardiner, NY. They serve breakfast and lunch, and do it fabulously! The blackened catfish sandwich was delicious and the pulled pork sandwich looked messy and wonderful and also was said to be delicious. Most sandwiches come with a lovely green salad but fries are also available, and they are sinfully scrumptious. Very very friendly staff and plenty of parking“
“This was such a great find while me and my husband were upstate for a few days. I loved that they had GF options and the food was so fresh and delicious. We went once and then came back the next day since it was so good. Very reasonable as well. I recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes and bread available“
“Went with friends for a birthday celebration. Veggie burgers are house made, crispy tater tots, rib eye, and chicken sammy were all good. Live music began as we were leaving. Good time!Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers are house made!Parking: Lots of room to park.“
“Just had breakfast at Underground this morning. They have been closed in the morning since Covid but now have new owners. The coffee was just as good as it used to be and the breakfast was much better. It’s great to have a good coffee shop and breakfast spot again in Highland. I did stop in for dinner when the new owners had just taken over but they were out of a lot of things and hadn’t gotten their liquor license yet. It looks like they are still working on getting beers in tap but they do have cans and bottle of beer and wine now. The breakfast really was very good. The best spot for breakfast in Highland now for sure. I’ll leave another review the next time we go for dinner to see if they have gotten all the wrinkles ironed out. We got the eggs Benedict with spinach and the breakfast tacos.“
“Always come by the plaza where this is for the pizza and wanted to give the cafe a shot. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and kind, she was quick to take and make my order and even joke with me when I wanted no pickles on my chicken sandwich when she told others who ordered the same said as much as well. Was great to watch my hot honey chicken sandwich all homemade, very much appreciated dedication to real home cooking. As for the sandwich, chicken was fried just right and it cut thin, not a huge chuck of fried chicken breast that often just silds right out of the bread. Hot honey was sweet with a strong spicy after bite, man I should asked for more of hot honey, the kaiser roll was nice and lightly toasted, bacon was cooked sightly crispy but still meaty and cheese was melted till very gooey. The menu here is bit small, but everything being homemade makes up for it.“
“We went to Vigneto several times and really enjoyed their professionalism. The staff/owners greet you at the door, take the time to talk to you respectfully, and ask regularly if you are satisfied with the food. We highly recommend Vigneto.“
“Best bagels around. If you think other local bagels are “good”, then you havnt tried bagels and bites.. but be warned, once you have one of their bagels, no other bagel will come close and you will be disappointed that it’s not a bagels and bites bagel.. the owner is also heavily involved in his own business which adds authenticity “
“Black Dot is the best coffee shop ever. The quality and care put into their coffee and food is unparalleled in the Hudson Valley. Banana cake. CHECK. Lemon cake. CHECK. The best cappuccino? CHECK, CHECK. Yummy snacks? Forggetaboutit! They’re the best. They’re super friendly and it’s a great place for both locals and people traveling through- which is important up here! When I go back to the city I always miss it. :)“
